There's not much in terms of a tutorial and character controls take a bit of getting used to, but once you get the hang of it it's really quite enjoyable. Some of the upgrades you get while playing are very fun and I like how you can modify abilities with components to make them more powerful, I like the loot aspect too, although I haven't gotten too many good items yet, I'm hoping for some sick drops. If you're into roguelites this one is pretty fresh and seems to have a good bit of content, especially for an early access release. Looking forward to seeing this game develop.
I found the default key bindings a bit awkward initially, but i was able to change them in settings. Overall its a proper roguelite game. There seems to be a lot of variety with potential builds and a good selection of abilities. It gets rather difficult after a bit but I had fun trying stuff out.
You know what? I am bad at this game but the game is fun. The graphic is pretty, and there is even a small progression system with items and upgrades.
Good Game
At the moment Hell Throne is a promising roguelite dungeon crawler and looter. The meta upgrades are done with a in-game currency connected to beating bosses and stuff you gather on your way. The experience is polished but it lacks build diversity and bestiary. The bosses have really cool designs, the names don't make sense it's probably placeholder. I'm excited to see where this game will evolve, it works great ont the Steam Deck.
