Really fun! I was looking for games like these. It is easy to operate and fun to apply various abilities.
If Hades and Minecraft had a baby and Diablo was the mistress. That tactical pause though...
Imagine Hades but it looks like Minecraft and it sounds like Doom. I love it.
Great little game to play during a short break :) Works fine on SteamDeck
El juego realmente esta bien, la dinámica del mismo no es fácil de coger. pero una vez que se aprende se disfruta del reto que supone. La curva de dificultad es pronunciada :) Curiosamente ya no me da los fallos que me deba... lo cual es de agradeceder
Not for me. Someone recommended this as an alternative to Minecraft Dungeons - I would say other than being a top down action game, they are nothing alike. This game is slow, clunky and feels unpolished, despite the visuals looking nice. The UI is not to my taste and feels like a cheap mobile game. I barely got through the tutorial before getting bored - it's just no comparison to another action game like MCD or Hades. This won't scratch that itch for most, I'd wager. Nice idea, maybe it's for other people, but it's not for me.
think im qualified to review this. this game stole my heart as a 'what minecraft dungeons shouldve been' + some. youll get 50 hours of play out of this one (on the last stage as of review and you could farm for fun items too if you wanted to). i feel like this little game has heart. it starts out tough and gradually as you become powerful it becomes medium difficulty. eventually youll become powerful around which time you can farm the last level for loot for a few hours. i feel like its a standard 'good' roguelite and the torchlight menus and items are not only cute they are good and you will acquire good loot that should be a little random but usually somewhat powerful. i got a unique 1h sword and an epic shield my gear varied in quality but the sustain vs challenge of this game feels good. i feel like this games cute look is only to fool you. its a deep roguelite beyond that with a touch of forgiving soulslike hack and slash. i believe its worth its full price and i give this game 4.5/5 stars. its not perfect but it almost is and it is a bargain deal do not pass on this if you like roguelites. btw it has bullet hell aspects but it isnt bullet hell heavy. youre not gonna get mowed down by bullets, you will die.. some. i love this game.
The future of the game is very promising, I hope the author can add Chinese, even if it is only machine translation
I've enjoyed Hades and this little game scratches the itch. You're pushed through a gauntlet of arenas filled with enemies and trials from time to time. As this game is still being developed the voxel graphics could lead to changes in the arenas themselves. There is already friendly fire among the enemies. That being said work has to be done on clarity of game: definitely a better hit/getting hit feedback is needed, as situation gets really hectic on higher levels and enemies can melt down your hp in an instant.
At this point in time, the game runs really well, and its smooth to play. It has a lot of fun ideas, and multiple strategies you can build for. What still needs work is the visibility, because a little later into the game and you can barely see what's what. The pace itself is a little slow to my liking, but that will of course vary from person to person. Overall the art style is nice, soundtrack is a little generic but it doesnt throw you off from the combat, and its optimised well.
