About

Enter the explosive conflict of the Vietnam War and fight your way through some of the fiercest clashes in modern history. Join the battle raging across an extreme landscape of vast mountain gorges and thick jungle, where the North Vietnamese Armies clash with the military strength of the US Armed Forces. Build tunnels, fly helicopters, drive patrol boats, use historically accurate weapons and work with your team to achieve victory.

Take the battle to the enemy across 6 large-scale maps inspired by real world locations. Play as either the North Vietnamese Army or US Armed Forces and choose from one of 17 specialised roles within a 50-strong team made up of multiple squads. Join or lead infantry, recon, armour, mortar squads and helicopter units, using communication and teamwork with your fellow players to identify objectives and ruthlessly exploit your opponent’s weaknesses. Emergent gameplay features bring intensity and realism to the conflict, as players tackle each battle with authentic weapons, orders and tactics. Follow the chain of command and work together as a team to meet your objectives and achieve victory.

In the heat and fury of the Vietnam War, the battle is more dynamic than ever. New US aerial units feature fully operational helicopters for fire support and supply drops. NVA forces can build extensive tunnel networks to gain the upper hand with surprise attacks. Both sides can hunt the enemy through Vietnam’s complex river network with heavily armed patrol boats built and launched to seek and destroy. Enhanced player movement, including swimming, climbing and fast crawling, and interactions such as dragging co-combatants away from active fire to give them a chance to heal and re-engage, all adds to the immersive battle experience.

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam features multiple distinct gameplay modes pitting players against each other in epic 50 vs 50 multiplayer battles. Warfare mode is a 50 vs 50 tug-of-war style confrontation where two teams fight for control over 5 sectors. Offensive breaks down the opposing forces into an attacking side and a defending side. Alternating new game modes mix up the gameplay parameters to maximise the battlefield experience. This is as immersive as warfare gets!

The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

disappointed
One of the single biggest disappointments of 2026… So many issues from Vietcong being utterly broke able to spawn everywhere and basically fast travel across the entire map, Console players with aim assist, helicopters immune to small arms fire. I keep seeing posts saying how beautiful the graphics are? Are we playing the same game? I see little to no difference in quality from almost every setting, VoIP is still broken. Every 5th person still turns into a robot. All these reviews glazing this game are either bots or are bots irl. Stop glazing companies for releasing unfinished products. The play tests are were aweful. They didn’t fix virtually anything. Game in current state is worth $5-10.
Don't listen to the neck beards and bandwagon chuds. This game is awesome!
avoid the tutorial at all costs it is the worst experience of anyone's life ever. I wanted to kill myself about 6 different times and I hate whoever designed this. Seriously, this is a fantastic example of how to make a tutorial that is entirely ineffective. The negative review is entirely because of the fact that I am locked behind doing these idiotic time wasting things meanwhile it has done nothing to stop bad SL's. Bravo on a truly wonderful pile of trash.
They will give you a medal G.I. But only after they take your money Your rich leaders grow richer Defect, G.I. it is a good idea to leave a sinking ship Do not buy game G.I. The developers have betrayed you G.I.
Buyers beware!! You have been warned!! This game is in beta state but being sold as a full release. The problems with this game go deeper than that which I will explain below. I play games like Battlefield and Tarkov. I also played OG call of duty before it became whatever it is today. I heard only good things about the first Hell Let Loose. When I heard about the new Vietnam game, I was excited! My coworkers and I have been talking about it for weeks. I have tried games like squad and Arma but the felt a little to simulator for my taste. Battlefield has become more Arcadey than ever before and I wanted a change. I thought this was a good time to try Hell Let Loose but I was WRONG. Since this games is not a major AAA title and it was delayed, I thought it was a safe bet that the release would have little pains. It has been nothing but bugs and bad teams. The Bugs! -voice chat doesn’t work. I have confirmed that it is the game. I don’t hear anyone and no one hears me. -trying to launch the game with a coin toss. It my start or it may crash before you get to the menu - most servers are unjoinable. Spend 15 minutes each time to attempt to join servers and get constantly rejected. - if you are in a party with friends, they may not get rejected from a server join like you. I have ended up with everyone in my party joining a different server. -just look at the prominent bugs on the subreddit. The gameplay :( I spent the first hour playing all the tutorials and feeling overwhelmed but I had faith I could be helpful. - Only to my surprise, every game is filled with people playing like it’s Team Deathmatch. -No one is moving supplies or playing spawn points for the squad or the team. -No one wants to be the commander so the team is never organized. -people don’t play objectives, instead they hide in bushes and kill you while you pass. -no one is doing logistics so I spend 15 minutes running to an objective before people don’t put down places to spawn. -can not shoot through tent walls. How is this a Mil-Sim game but bullet can not penetrate canvas. - official servers rotate games mode. After a half baked game of warfare, it turned into conquest. No one wants to play conquest but the alternative is spend another 15 minutes trying to join a server again. I thought that on launch day would be all the hardcore people. Everyone working together to advance the front like and matches that last 1.5 hours. What I experienced was 100 people ignoring the objective and shooting at each other like tdm. No place but the HQ to spawn and 20 minutes of running to get to the action only to die in one shot to some person in a bush. I could overlook the bugs if the gameplay was fun but that people on this game are hot garbage. This games does not play good without an active team. I would guess that all the good players went back to original game and not this half baked garbage.
Absolutely ridiculous key-binding system. It’s honestly unbelievable that you can’t simply rebind a key that is already assigned to another action. Instead, you’re forced to find a completely unused key. Apparently, the developers expect us to own a keyboard with a billion keys, so we can spend an entire hour manually moving every single key binding around just to get the controls we actually want. I gave it a good 30 minutes, but I’m already completely fed up. Seriously, how is this still a thing? I absolutely loved HLL, which makes this even more disappointing. I was really looking forward to playing the Vietnam experience, but I won’t even make it past the key-binding menu — I’m not even going to get five seconds into the tutorial. REFUND REQUESTED. A game can be amazing, but if you make the basic control configuration this frustrating, I’m simply not going to play it.
