If war is the closest we get to hell on earth, it's because Earth harbours the worst of demons: humankind. In an isolated country ravaged by infighting, discover the secrets of your past and deal with the repercussions of a mysterious calamity.

Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
About
Hell is Us is a 3rd-person action-adventure game that combines intense melee combat with the thrill of exploration. Explore a semi-open world to find answers to your questions and face mysterious creatures all along your journey.
As well as the civil war dividing the country, the region is suffering from a mysterious calamity, which has given rise to supernatural creatures that no modern weapon can defeat. Your drone and sword from a different age are your faithful allies as you cut a path through lands infested with terrifying chimeras and try to unravel the mystery of their appearance.
No map, no compass, no quest markers: following your instincts is part of the adventure. Enjoy a unique experience that uses innovative writing and level design to let you make your own decisions and follow your instincts as you explore. Your discoveries are yours alone.
Swords, spears and axes: a wide range of weapons forged specially for fighting these supernatural creatures is available. You will need to learn how to fight these monsters and use your drone wisely to stay alive.
''The central theme of Hell is Us is that human violence is a perpetual cycle fueled by human emotions and passions.'' – Jonathan Jacques-Belletête, Creative Director

Reviews

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Being born in eastern Europe in the middle of the Bosnian civil war, it's crazy seeing similarities in this game to what I've read through history classes and first accounts my parents and family members went through. Seeing both sides manipulated, seeing the survival, the impact on the lives of families and communities, and seeing the signs again at this day and age all hit heavy with an atmospheric presentation that made me curious how everything was connected. Highly recommend this game for its atmosphere, lore and world building, and, despite the combat being somewhat basic, it has its satisfying moments and the simplicity can be enjoyed well enough as you keep learning and unlocking what playstyle works best for you. Side note, if the seismic charge from Jango Fett's slave one is at the top of most satisfying sounds, the sound a Timeloop makes when it can finally be entered has to be a close second.
my review about this game this was not i expected from a "souls like" tag game why ? 5 reasons 1) there literally no bosses in this game just adds and they have level 1 2 3 thats all 2) when u die there is nothing lost 3) didint like the puzzle on vault and etc the time line of everything isnt correct 4) gameplay mecanic there is no point in healing ... or etc 5) timeloop !? dont know why they exist ... but the biggest down side for me was you only fighting white creatures and there is nothing really nothing the good deeds etc need to search internet ,,, glyphs dont know still what they do really not recommnded i would refound if i could dont buy if you looking for boss fights there is just view a little bit story ...

This game is kinda cool for being like a hybrid of a soulslike that's full of exploration/lore built into it, no hand holding for puzzles(might need a guide for certain ones), and the atmosphere is so eerie with its dark themes and setting, I enjoyed it very much! But I do feel like this game was rushed in the last minute of development with the way act 2 ended and how short act 3 was, also the ending felt somewhat empty and a bit disappointing like if there's a sequel already planned or a expansion dlc to continue from that point(probably cut content). Either way it's pretty good and worth a try, especially if you can when on sale. <3
The game I dubbed "Death Dark Nioh Stranding Souls" within the first 10 minutes of playing, I had on PS5 originally, but had to buy it again. Combat: Very bare-bones. If you were to strip the combat of Nioh down to basic attacks, blocking, finishers and ki pulse, that's what you're getting here. Weapon levelling is basic, augmentation seems pointless past a cosmetic choice with no consequence in combat. Definitely not the strong suit, but not why I'm here, personally. World-building & Lore: This was one of the parts I thought was the game's stronger suit. Like a Souls game, you're on your own with no bearings while you're thrown into the world in the midst of its worst. Civilisation destroyed with remnants here and there, people displaced and seeking refuge or piled in mass graves and slaughtered in the streets with no in-between. Both sides thinking they're on the right side of a centuries-long civil war they're both losing to an calamitous supernatural force. Each character interacted with having their own unique circumstance while still sharing the commonality of the war destroying their lives and homes. Art Direction: This is what caused me to buy this game a second time without regret. Between Jonathan Jacques-Belletete and Stephane Primeau, one of the most eerily beautiful game worlds I've ever stepped into was created. Between the cold and desolate environments like Senedra Forest, Marastan, Talju, Jeljin and my beloved Lake Cynon, and the ghostly, ominous synths in the air, it's as if they pulled out a haunting dream you can't stop thinking about but vaguely remember and made you step back into it; instant anemoia. If you're buying it as an action game, you might be a little disappointed. But if, like me, the first thing you notice is the dimming sun weakly breaking through the rolling stormy clouds while the those haunting synths come crackling and warbling through the air, you're in for a treat, and it only gets better. If there is ever a sequel, a much needed brush up on the combat would be appreciated. In regards to the art direction and world-building, absolutely more of the same, please.
Great Vibe, Lore and Story, but the gameplay is boring af. this game need more enemy types and better puzzels
