Better than Haydee 2, yet still worse than H1. Its basically what H2 was suppose to be. H3 using same assets, but with new map. Pros: 1. Climbing and swimming made its return after been missing in H2. 2. Two new enemy types. 3. New map is fine. Cons: 1. Still same ugly potato-nose goofy face. 2. Game riddled with out of place porn posters and wending machines. Jokes not even funny or smart. Its a references on well known games, with slightly changed names. Some of them are just sad. Like game "Remember me" got renamed into "Remember her". Got it? Me neither. Its not even a pun. 3. Haydee design got more covered up for some reason. 4. Same as H2 animations are lacking. Unlike H1, Haydee doesn't hold her weapons in hand while idling or walking, etc. 5. Same as H2 interior design extremely oversaturated with trash. Its difficult to find stuff, get what is part of the puzzle and what you can climb on. Its looking good, but it visuals before gameplay. 6. Final boss is all about combat, no puzzles or climbing. Boring, slow, uninspired, just like ending. Overall, its a 5/10 game. Fine for one time.

Haydee 1 was a puzzle platformer and Haydee 2 was a survival horror, so it is only natural that Haydee 3 would be a fusion of both. You awake in a derelict research station filled with bloodthirsty mutants and killer security bots and your only objectives are to survive and find a way to escape the facility. There's no long cutscenes or exposition to explain the story; the only way you will figure out what is going on is to find various memos that are scattered around which tell the story of the station workers before everything went to hell. You're also not given a map screen or any hints on where to go, you sort of just have to wander around and explore any areas you have access to and hope you find keys or tools that will help you progress to new areas, where you will repeat the process. If you've played Haydee 2 or basically any other older survivor horror then this sounds very familiar, but Haydee 3 iterates on the formula by aiding in platforming and swimming components. It takes some time to get used to the jumping and climbing controls but after I did I rather enjoyed the traversal, including the fun brain teasers of finding the exact route through a room littered with ledges and boxes to proceed. The graphical quality is slightly improved compared to Haydee 2, but the facility room designs are way more interesting this go around, using much more creative layouts and decorations. The enemy selection is still pretty limited, although not as limited as Haydee 2. The gray zombie dudes and scythe-armed fembots return, but there are some new variants to spice things up. These include a pregnant(?) female zombie that explodes on you if it gets too close and a fat zombie that spits acid balls as a ranged attack. The animations are still pretty basic; Haydee's jumping and climbing animations look okay but deaths are still simple ragdolls and there is no sort of advanced gore or dismemberment you get from shooting enemies. There is also the much-needed addition of a Resident Evil 3 Remake-style dodge roll, which will help you better avoid enemies and being cornered, this was a big problem in Haydee 2 and it is nice the dev addressed it. As you probably guessed the game based is very heavily on sexual themes, aside from simply playing as a busty robot lady. There are porno mags and vending machines with huge exposed breasts on them everywhere. These can be hidden by using the 'Censor' open in the menu. Even if you don't like the "gooner" material I still recommend the game for it's unapologetic dedication to old school survival horror and punishing difficulty, along with having sublimely creepy vibes. It could stand to be slightly cheaper I feel, but I guess it's of hard to complain due to the lack of true survivor horror games in the current day and it is fun enough to merit it. If you decide to buy this game I highly recommend grabbing a few mods from the workshop. They aren't completely necessary, but they do add in a few nice quality-of-life fixes. My personal picks are: - Gun in Hand Mod: Makes it so your currently equipped weapon is always in Haydee's hand. Also adds in a built-in flashlight to each gun to help compensate for dark areas. - Knockback Dodge Roll: Makes it so your dodge roll stuns any enemies you bump into, giving you a moment to escape. - Your Booba Lady of Choice? :P
I really like it, but the price isn't great and allot of people skipped on it. It really shows as the modding scene is significantly smaller compared to the previous titles (many just being direct ports of mods from HD2), and allot of users admit in their reviews that they refunded after they realized there wasn't a big gameplay/visual upgrade over previous titles, which there isn't. It mostly takes the parkour gameplay of HD1 and combines it with the storytelling and visual style of 2. It's good, but for many people probably not $30 good.
Why is her face ugly?
This game could have been a masterpiece in storytelling. What's really needed is a clearer storyline.
Haydee 3 has more going for it than Haydee 2 and yet it's wasted and falls flat for the most part. I didn't want to give it a negative review as my opinion of the game is mostly mid and I love Haydee Interactive, but there are many issues that I think can't be overlooked. The level design is not as elegant as the previous game, it involves a lot of tedious back and forth with power nodes and tools, little in the way of shortcuts, and endless cheap ambushes of enemies in front and behind you at the same time. NTartha definitely feels less streamlined and thought out than NSola7. The new enemy types are a welcome addition, and their damage to other enemies can be an interesting way to go about encounters, but most of the time they're just used in lazy traps with no strategy beyond dying and knowing next time what to do. Haydee 2 had ambushes, but this takes it too far to be enjoyable. Level traversion is a chore as well. The platforming and swimming are back from the original and they can be refreshing in short bursts but some sections in Haydee 3 feel laborious and tedious to traverse, specially if you die or on a second playthrough. Another aggravating factor is the implementation of power relays. This relay system takes the power node puzzle element from the previous two games and adds another layer of complexity which, unfortunately, involves just going back and forth long distances to see if the power is routed correctly. This kills any momentum or will to play. Haydee's model has been upgraded with a cuter face, though her suit is a step down from HD1 and HD2, with no nude or long hair option either. Enemies (except the new ones) look the same as in HD2, now with sound effects added. Environments also look mostly the same with a few added meshes here and here for flavor, and it looks good enough to convey NTartha as a lived space. Graphically, the game is mostly the same as the previous games. The sub-par FXAA implementation is still here, and it ruins text and textures. Using Reshade to inject SMAA or a higher FXAA version solves this issue. One good thing is the game has a gamma slider now, which helps with the overly dark environments. Gameplay wise, it's a mix of Haydee 1 and Haydee 2, but now with the worst parts like ambushes, labyrithian sections and tedious shimmying/platforming cranked up to 11. The addition of the roll is a welcome one though. Soundtrack is a mixed bag. It's definitely not as memorable as Vlad Plotnikov's work, but it works well enough most of the time. Story is a continuation of Haydee 2, with an implied link to Haydee 1, it's interesting enough and at sometimes disturbing. Ending was a bit underwhelming though. Edith level editor is mostly the same as before but with some new additions. It still lacks descriptors for what the GUI is though. All in all, it's a an expansion pack for Haydee 2 that unfortunately delves into the weaknesses of the franchise instead of its strong points. Still, for Haydee fans it's a worthwhile playthough, even if only once.
This is the most difficult Haydee game so far. Use of a guide is recommended in some places. Otherwise all is the same. Think, move, shoot. And you'll still die a lot, so be ready.
'I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet A pawn and a king I've been up and down and over and out And I know one thing Each time I find myself Flat on my face I pick myself up and get Back in the race That's life (that's life) I tell you, I can't deny it I thought of quitting, baby But my heart just ain't gonna buy it And if I didn't think it was worth one single try I'd jump right on a big bird and then I'd fly'. (That’s Life - Frank Sinatra) Hayde3 is back, and that's the best news for me—I never tire of this saga. This could be the best installment yet, such is its high quality. Some new features: - enemies - treacherous hiding places - tools and collectible items - and the JUMP is back too! - from the first to the last one, I would say that the areas have become even more intertwined, and at the same time, without suffering (as perhaps happened in the second installment). Looking forward to the fourth installment!
Had I known the primary antagonists were the protagonists boobs, I'd never have purchased. Not a game for people with a life outside gaming.
