The Haunted Hotel series is my favorite. I played this from another game website that no longer works well on my computer. But thanks to you I can play it again. it is a great game.
I would recommend this game to anyone. 5 Stars
Decent, but it's just ridiculous. Random crashes also, which is even more ridiculous. hidden object scenes are not bad, the "puzzles" make the game seem like a waste of time.
Loved the game, was a lot of fun
---Overall--- I don't normally like this type of game but was hooked on this for hours. Art direction and level design absolutely sold it for me. The story is lowkey intriguing though it fell off near the end. I can tell minigames were carefully crafted to be as non-repetitive and closely tied to the story as possible. They are not challenging but at least they don't use madman logic. Some levels have absolutely stunning visuals. There are quite a few unique minigames here and there which was very refreshing. Overall an incredible experience, especially for such a low price. ---Ratings--- Art: 10/10 UX/UI: 10/10 Story: 6/10 Level design: 9/10 Puzzles & minigames: 8/10 Sound design: 7/10 Voice acting: 6/10 ---Some personal tidbits (SPOILER WARNING)--- - it has 3 bi men trapped in a hotel, what else can I say - I'm convinced they ran out of budget for MC's voice actor halfway into the game - MC's VA also messed up 1 line during opening cutscene which is funny considering he only voiced like 5 lines in total (or they changed the script later on without doing a retake) - I know MC x James is a thing, I just can't prove it - most of the puzzles revolve around feeding animals and getting things that are out of reach - forget running from a headless ghost that quite literally wants your head, it's tea time - horse riding minigame, so unserious, I love it, can be very frustrating though because of weird mechanics - arrow in the knee reference (allegedly) - Helldiver reference at one point too for absolutely no reason - Slenderman makes a cameo as well, now with child support payments to make - really disappointed that we didn't get to interact directly with headless horseman - really liked the scenes where James occasionally moved around in the background looking like he's contributing - puzzles and story definitely got lazy near the end
I found this from watching a youtuber play. Had a lot of fun playing. Will play again. Did crash a couple times but game saved very close to when it crashed, so lost no progress.
Life is to short for Big Fish Games ....
