Awesome game... Was my first "adult" game in '99 (11yo) and right before "Conflict: Freespace". But free roaming was kinda new and felt amazing, still to this date. Trading and manipulating the market was a thing, dealing with legal and illegal goods was thrilling, great soundtracks and an unsettling atmo, also a dystopian story which affected me in future games of my choice. For me it aged very well. Can't count my hours in this game, but 100, maybe 120 hours in my early days were alot! Will have a re-run again. The future is indeed greedy!
What a gem. Jordan Freeman group have ported a Gremlin classic, complete with its old bugs, and maybe some new ones. Nice to see they included the Ian Martin updates.

Hardwar is everything you'd expect from a game of it's age. Sure, it doesn't the polish of, say, a modern release... but it does have charm and can be customized to suit your every desire. It's exactly how I remember it. I strongly recommend a more modern keybind if this is your first foray into the game.
I had this game way back when and sill have the original 2cds here somewhere. I bought a joystick to use with it as that seems to me the only way to play. I recently bought the Steam version but I am unable to get the game to run. Steam does not support the game and directs you to the Zoom site for support. Zoom tells you a recent Steam update broke the game. I have downloaded the DX9 June 2010 drivers and installed them to no avail. At this time I have to give this version a bad review. I will be happy to change this when I can get some help to get it working. Edit: Finally got it working 2 weeks later. It is the same awesome game I remember from years ago. What a struggle though! Too many hoops to jump through to get it functioning!
it works, OMG. its so long since i visited this place. i still have my original 2 CD version, but haven't managed to get it working in many years. it won't work above 1920x1080 as far as i can tell, but its nice to have it running again :)
Surprisingly fun sandbox space-trading/killing sim. It's a little rough to start but once you get the hang of things its so good.
Absolute banger of a classic.
This Was Pain to Play but a Good Game Would Recommend Giving it a Try From -NotTheRealTenkoBerry
I CAN'T BELIEVE IT WORKS! Flawlessly - except 2k doesn't seem to load. It still looks great in 1920-1200 though!!
27 frames per second cap is ridiculous.
