This Was Pain to Play but a Good Game Would Recommend Giving it a Try From -NotTheRealTenkoBerry
runs smoothly and added new music. INCLUDES UPDATED UIM06 patch as well. Great game still
Surprisingly fun sandbox space-trading/killing sim. It's a little rough to start but once you get the hang of things its so good.
fun with a flight stick, very difficult to figure out how to actually win
I had this game way back when and sill have the original 2cds here somewhere. I bought a joystick to use with it as that seems to me the only way to play. I recently bought the Steam version but I am unable to get the game to run. Steam does not support the game and directs you to the Zoom site for support. Zoom tells you a recent Steam update broke the game. I have downloaded the DX9 June 2010 drivers and installed them to no avail. At this time I have to give this version a bad review. I will be happy to change this when I can get some help to get it working. Edit: Finally got it working 2 weeks later. It is the same awesome game I remember from years ago. What a struggle though! Too many hoops to jump through to get it functioning!
If the game crashes on start pick a lower resolution like 1920x1200.
27 frames per second cap is ridiculous.
Great retro game for anyone tired of hi res graphic shoot em ups
This was my first PC game that I played back in the 90's. I built my first gaming PC last year and installed a disk drive just so I could play this game. I am super happy to have found this on steam. Other reviews are far more in depth but I can say if you don't have any nostalgia for this game it may be hard to get into as it is very dated.
Game is just something I played in the 90s and love going back to the old games ever so often. Slow to get started, But once you get use to the controls, I suggest using a joy stick makes flying the ships a lot easier.
