Hardspace: Shipbreaker

My hours should speak for themselves, and I've just now completed the game. I didn't exactly race through, but I was also far from completing all upgrades... Overall, super super impressed, and definitely got my money's worth out of it. 1. Watching you go from struggling with the controls and zero-g orientation/navigation to zipping around, ripping apart ships is really cool to wrap your head around... just how our brain can adapt to something so foreign, so quickly. 2. The actual physics engine is awesome. 3. I wish there was quite a bit more variety in ships (and general condition of ships). It does end up feeling a bit samesy throughout much of the game. 4. The narrative storytelling was great. A bit slow at parts, but well acted, well-told, and certainly interesting. Overall an easy recommend to anyone looking for a calmer, relaxing experience - def would fall into the "cozy" camp for me.

Highly originial game. The only one of its genre AFAIK. Strangely addictive and also chill.

Really great chill game to play with a little bit of "damn the man" mixed in. I enjoyed it.

Great gameplay, although, the story is a bit bland. I wish there was more content (more variety in ship parts, new hasards, new parts to meticulously disassemble). I would love a DLC !

I discovered this game back in Early Access. At first I was like: "Okay... so I cut spaceships apart for a living?" A few hours later: "NOOOOO! THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO GO TO THE BARGE!" A few more hours later: "Who put this reactor in two separate pieces? Oh... right... me." This game has no business being this addictive. Somehow, dismantling ships, sorting scrap, and trying not to explode becomes one of the most relaxing and satisfying gameplay loops ever made. Also, the option to disable oxygen consumption is the greatest quality-of-life feature ever added. I'm here to dismantle spaceships, not to spend half my shift worrying about breathing. 10/10. Would accidentally send valuable equipment into the Furnace again.

i love boys

I bought it on sale and played through career mode. Great value for the money. It's very playable, great music, great session lengths for busy people, while still leaving you feeling like you achieved something. You kind of have to figure out your own approach, but it's not too difficult. The narrative is something you can care about or not – It's not very intrusive, but I liked it. Thumbs up, good stuff!
