Immensely satisfying, doesn't outstay its welcome
This wouldn't typically be my type of game, but after starting it I got engrossed. The mechanics seemed complicated at first, but the game did a great job of leading me through it and I found myself getting surprisingly proficient at it. Also, free play is great if you want to just kick back and lose yourself in a ship.
ok
Très divertissant et très relaxant. Quelques petits points de démontage ou d'utilisation d'objet mais en faisant attention à nos actions on s'en sort très bien. Et ça fait toujours plaisir de faire exploser un réacteur par soi-même xD
Love this game but got jump scared when I accidentally blew my self up a few times. Good story that I enjoyed playing through and I like how the physics of the game feel real for moving objects and yourself in 0 G.
Hardspace: Shipbreaker is a unique take on the job sim genre of game, combining the sci-fi premise of interstellar travel, flash cloning, and gravity guns with the mundanity of corporate quotas and debt. Each ship presents a puzzle to be solved, either due to the often asinine layout of critical infrastructure, or the question of how to physically transport the parts to various recyclers. These questions become pleasantly more complex as more hazards, ship types, and tools become available to you. However there is a slight lull in the progression due to a need to fill out your equipment upgrades, creating a situation at the beginning where tools feel terrible to use. The game also has issues with stuttering, and some sticker objectives are bugged, namely the ghost ship helmets one. I believe this is more than made up for by continuously engaging puzzles and a well paced narrative of class consciousness.
i wish i could play this game for the first time again
This game is meditative to me. It's so relaxing somehow, and I love it.
i loved this game so much, such a good story to it and fun physics, plus the main benefit of being able to dismantle huge ships down to nothing. there is nothing i can think of that is bad about it. would rate 100/10
Play it, do it for the story, do it for the gameplay. It's a good time. I'm sitting here not having played for over a year looking for something to play and saw this on my list I'm diving back in.
