What a great game for such a small price really wish BBI luck in their endavours! Game industry really needs such creative and talented teams!
gave a friend the title of the game and they thought it was a sci-fi dating sim lol
Loved this game, really excellent concept and the worldbuilding really sells the dystopian setting. Game play can be a bit repetitive but there's enough variation within the various ship types to allow you to feel like you know what you're doing while maintaining a sense of challenge. And honestly, the repetition does fit with the themes of the story and setting. The physics and controls feel very satisfying and work very well, all in all a very well put together game. Really hope the dev team gets the chance to do more with the concept, would love to see more done with the gameplay and there's plenty more latitude to play with the world and setting too! Excellent game, would strongly recommend!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Its a really good, chill game. Spend some time methodically breaking apart ships for hours on end. If you aren't into the story part though... Well, sorry. You are listening to it because for some reason the dialogue is unskippable and includes parts where you are literally trapped in your pad unable to escape it. I genuinely don't mind the story but I am not looking forward to having to relisten to all the dialogue again if I want to start from scratch. TLDR: Great game but why can't we skip dialogue if people want to? Come on now
A space salvage simulation game where players dismantle derelict ships piece by piece using cutting, grappling, and physics-based tools. The core loop is extremely satisfying—there’s a strong tactile feeling to carefully cutting apart ships, managing systems, and breaking them down efficiently. It genuinely feels like working with your hands in a mechanical, methodical way. Progression is well-paced, with meaningful upgrades to tools, oxygen, survivability, and efficiency that consistently improve how you approach each job. The campaign is also surprisingly strong and adds weight to the experience beyond just the gameplay loop. However, the main limitation is content variety—once you’ve mastered the handful of ship types, there isn’t much new to fundamentally change the experience. After finishing the campaign, there is very little additional content, which makes the experience feel complete but finite.
I can't believe it took me so long to notice this game existed. Seriously one of the best games I've ever played. Taking apart ships in Shipbreaker is some of the most fun I've ever had. The only things that would make it better is if it had multiplayer and if it had more ships you could add via mods in the workshop. It's a little sad that only 13 ship variants are in the game, but here's hoping for Shipbreaker 2 sometime in the future. My god is this game fun. Buy it, you won't regret it.
I see cut points, and what should go in the barge, processor or furnace in real life now.

So, probably on my top 3 of my favorite games. It is a game that can be played at any time, it's complete, the gameplay is incredibly good, the ships are different from one another, I wans't expecting to invest this many hours in this game leading to 100% it. A game that has helped me so much during one of the hardest moments of my life teaching me a lot, even tho it's just a game, especially the endning speech of Weaver, that did touch my heart. and it's not only about cutting and savaging ships. it's way more than that. give it at try.
I like this game even if it's story i find abrasive in a few ways. gameplay wise it gets a solid 8/10 i think there is room for a lot more fleshing out of hazard types and the base ship variety as it gets too samey after a while. story gets a shaky 7/10. there are parts i love story wise but i find unionization origin stories uninteresting. i did like seeing how the games antagonist started pissing off your coworkers each day; the eventual catharsis at the climax was well done. the character drama and payoff felt well setup and earned. i also like how the respawn system is an in lore mechanic to emphasize the dangerousesness of shipbreaking. QOL suggestions allow us to interact with other things like equipment and employee terminals before forcing us to end the day. sequel wants more hazards i want some hazards to be rare and feel like i'm slowly disarming a whole building that's been booby trapped. while i also want more hazard type and varieties more base ship varieties 4 basic ship frames was tolerable with the amount of variants in this game but the sequel needs at least 8 new base ship types to tear apart. i'd love for the sequel to have new enviormental interactions. sort of how cryo/fire behaves in this game.
