I'll start by saying the concept is fantastic. It just feels slightly unfinished. The game play is decent but there's a lot of clipping on the map edge and trying to jump hills and the like. It elicits nostalgia for PS2 games. The world is interesting and I love having to decipher quests and clues about things without having an arrow over my head all the time telling me where to go. I am a little disappointed in how the NPCs don't interact with the world at all. 900 goblins chasing me? No one cares. The goblins exclusively come for the player even though every town has stories of others being killed. It just feels a little silly given the dark undertones of the story. Overall though I'm enjoying it and I suggest giving it a try.
Thoroughly enjoying this game so far, great art style and interesting dark story. Definitely an underrated game! It's a bit hard to follow quests due to there not being any quest tracking but it's a part I love about the game, it forces you to remember conversations and take notes. Games are getting too easy these days and this game presents a fantastic challenge. My only negative would be I wish a little more time was spent on the fighting mechanics.
Everything is cute but a dark mystery. Combat is simple and also easy to die on your venture. Try to explore the lands and stories. This game has a big puzzle you must note on every foot of your, also the glitches lol. Def worth on sale
pretty concept
I love that it doesn't have a quest journal, like dark souls. Still the balance seems off since you accumulate a lot of big info that don't seem to come usefull. For exemple in Elden Ring you have quest of all sizes and small ones are presented at the beginning to give you a sense of reward and things to come. The combat is not so interesting, which is a bit underwhelming for such a good game. Jumping also feels bad, which is an even bigger issue. I lost the save a few years ago, then never started it back to finish it. I guess it felt a bit too much like a choore, still I loved the mistery of it and the amount of ideas that there are inside, but since it was striving for greatness I had to point out what doesn't really work.
Probably the most underrated game ever.. Play the demo. If you like it, buy the game. You won't regret
It's a good game, not gonna lie. Nothing special I would say. I found that it was better in the early stages of development. You could do more, now it's just a somewhat linear story with some easy difficulty action. The characters are interesting, the story is different, but I find myself trying to do something else or being creative, and the game doesn't reward that. So I just got bored and gave up on it. Maybe it's worth the price, but it doesn't feel like it was worth it.
