Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.22/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Очень хорошо, даже в 2026 году.
Excellent, with some caveats. Let me explain - this game is as sweet as honey-laced chocolate muffins with sprinkles on top and a soda on the side. i.e. it's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tasty....the first few bites are heavenly....but after a bit, you want a little spice. Hard Reset looks absolutely gorgeous, plays like a ruddy charm, and has a consistent sense of character throughout. The cyberpunk cities, outskirts, junkyards, factories, all glisten and gleam with the rain-soaked metallic sheen that Blade Runner popularized (and eventually, mastered). Honestly, they've nailed this aspect of the game. After the first 5-6 hours of play, though, the incessant shooting gets tiring. First, you're always on edge (because this game is literally go here -> ah yes, 100 robots -> go there -> ah yes, 200 robots -> ad infinitum). There's no actual exploration, puzzle, no conversations or dialogue options, barely any lore or NON-COMBAT content. Second, the shooting has very little variety beyond a point. You have effectively 6-7 different weapon types, and while they all do a fantastic job and the combat really can be varied, strategic and tense, it's tiring to have to fight the same robots, which do the same things, again and again, level after level. It would have been different if weapon variety was drip-fed to you, but I unlocked all the weapons I was going to use within the first 4-5 hours of play. 4-5 hours later, I dread the next combat encounter and I wish there were areas where I could just enjoy the scenery and read some lore. If this type of game engages you, then Hard Reset is probably one of the better ones I've played. If it doesn't (like with me), it can still give you many hours of entertainment. Just...maybe not enough for you to finish the story.

This is the definition of mixed bag. Art style and atmosphere is amazing. Graphics are great for a 2012 game, effects and carnage you can cause in a firefight are pretty glorious to behold. Sountrack is pretty cool, fits the whole cyberpunk style. HOWEVER, this is one tough cookie to swallow. Level design is pretty ♥♥♥♥, there's a lot of tight corridors with a little room to dodge or wiggle and this is arena shooter style of game. This leads to a lot of frustraiting deaths just because you are having a hard time dodging incoming attacks. Movement is sluggish and feels half baked. It's floaty and weird. Jumping is practically useless. Leads to alot of frustrations, especially if you are trying to get to some of the secret areas. Weapons, while cool in concept (you start with 2, but by upgrading them you can get as much as 10) are mostly pointless. Enemies don't have any obvious weaknesses to any particular kind of gun, so why use most of them when you can get RPG and Railgun combo and just spam that till you see the end credits. Speaking of enemies, there's like 5 of them, by the level 3 you have seen the whole roster. Cool designs. Game is pretty short, you can run through it in maybe max 4-5 hours. Story is there, but hell if I remember what happened in it, something about machines attacking human city, some kind of conspiracy, AI shenanigans... Hidden city? AI General for the machines? The Corporation doing something? Difficulty. This game is pure ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. On difficulties higher than normal, enemies become bullet sponges that can take 2-3 rockets to the face and still come for seconds and their attacks become almost undodgeable. If you think that incoming attack will not hit, think again, because it WILL hit. Combined with claustrophobic level design this game turns into trial and error type of experience. And while most of your arsenal is basically useless, RPG and Railgun combo being practically only viable option, they are so underpowered it takes multiple shots to kill even easiest of enemies. Also, while I praised the graphics earlier, I got a bug multiple times in my playthroughs where maps loaded in incomplete, as in I could only see my gun, items and skybox. The rest was invisible. Quickest fix was to restart the whole game. Honestly I just finisned it for achievements and even the last secret one bugged out for me, so I had to RESTART THE WHOLE GAME just to get it. Redux version came out and apparently it's better and more balanced, so unless you are a fan of having a bad time, skip this.
Скучновато. На одно прохождение.
It's a good shooter, underrated. I think the exile levels kinda suck and so do some of the weapons. I grew to like Fletcher and Novak, but when the story gets interesting the game is over. Wild Hog should come back to this universe, its ripe for more mutant robot freak destruction.
Wow, the moment I shot the first AC unit and it shortcircuited in a rain of electricity before exploding in flames, scattering debris across the street, I knew this was made by the same company that made Shadow Warrior. This time the setting is cyberpunk and you are fighting robots so there is no gory goodness and bloodshed, but even still the game managed to surprise me with the progressive dismandling of the bigger units. I love the devs' attention to detail, like how you start fighting a pristine looking robot and as the fight progresses its panels get torn off and its inner mechanisms become exposed so you can either shoot at its core for maximum destruction, or the leg joints, in which case the robot's lower half gets blown and it start trying to crawl on the ground in an attempt to claw at you. And of course the star of the game is enviromental destruction and mayhem and I can't get enough of it. The store signs hanging above get torn and fall down, shooting at lamps make them malfunction and slowly fade forever, cardboard gets torn to shred, pallets are broken to wooden planks, computer screens start malfuctioning at first, then get torn off from their stands and go blank, while shelf units get de-IKEA'ed and bottles shatter. Every futuristic electronic machine explodes in a light show, gas-fueled machinery explode along with fuel barrels, bringing down the occasional wall or store shutter to expose secret rooms with experience points, health packs and ammo. The gunplay leaves a lot to be desired, I am early on but from the ungrades I have unlocked you appear to have only two weapons (an electricity gun and a riffle) each with 4 alternative mechashift/firing modes. So your electic gun can be a plasma shooter or an aoe electricity sprinkler and your riffle can be a mini turret chaingun that can turn into a double barrel shotgun. I am not impressed so far as I have yet to become used to the controls and circling through the alternative fire modes while swapping the two guns, and I miss the melee of Shadow Warrior. But the enviromental destruction and mayhem, along with the budding plot has kept my interest so far. Overall when I bought the game on a sale without knowing anything about it, I was expecting a cheap, generic shooter with aged graphics and some buggy ps2 mechanics, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out it is a game with a strong identity, enviromental kill gimmicks, enemy dismantling mechanics, hidden rooms and a cyberpunk detective story. Also the graphics look amazing in my eyes, just like I found Shadow Warrior beautiful beyond measure and with an attention to detail whne I picked it up for the first time, I find myself eager to see what else the game will throw at me, little details like the flying police cruisers patroling above the skies, coming and going every few minutes in some missions heralded by the sounds of their sirens, and they aren't even fake background drawings as shooting at them rewards you with sounds of impact and the flashes of bullets ricocheting off of their armored holds :). Or all the different holographic adds and propaganda posters and graffity littering the levels full of witty consumerism remarks "Buy to Live" "Clone yourself and let the clone do your work while you seek out pleasure, don't worry we will dispose of the clone for you when you are ready to go back to work". Great game.
An awesome game. :D
