Happy Sheepies

'Happy Sheepies' sounds like a cute and nice game, which it was -- up until you have to kill the sheepies </3 hated this part of the game and my joy in playing it went downhill after that. Killing them is required as part of quests and achievements so you are unable progress or complete the game without killing them :'( Makes the game unhappy instead so unfortunately rating it down for that reason unless that changes - There are other ways to make profits. I hope you remove the option to kill the sheep or at-least make it so that there is no requirement to kill them as part of the new update & more achievements added to pair with the new items + quests you plan to add.

[h2]This was an excellent game[/h2] I really liked the simple game mechanics. Everything you do in this game can be easily figured out with a bit of thinking, but if thinking isn't your cup of tea, don't worry. The game also provides clear explanations for all important game mechanics, whilst still giving you the chance to experiment [spoiler]and accidentally burn your dough whilst trying making bread like I did[/spoiler] [hr][/hr] Another thing I really appreciated was the quest system. I especially like how progression is locked behind them. In most games having progression locked by quests is frustrating, but this game has nailed the quest system. The thing that made me really like these quests is that they were often easy and quick to complete: perfect to try out certain parts of the game, get rewarded, and then decide whether to continue doing that thing, try something else or fall back to something you were doing before. I must admit some quests were bit grindy, but they didn't feel useless or unnecessary. Example (no spoilers): in the later parts of the game you have to sell lots of a time consuming item to get. When I first got the quest I wished that that quest didn't exist, but by the end of it I had found a way to be efficient at making that particular item, and continued producing vast amounts of it after the quest ended. The quest taught me how to engage with that part of the game and made the rest of my playthrough more enjoyable. [hr][/hr] Now the part that I most enjoyed: the automation The best thing about it is that it still requires maintenance and attention. The things that the game calls "automation" feel much more like QoL upgrades to your farm that still require you to pay attention. I loved that these "automation" structures still need to be manually refilled and emptied. It fits in really well with the rest of the game's mechanics whilst managing to be a great help in your playthrough. [hr][/hr] The last thing I'll talk about is the amazing art style. This, gameplay wise, great game was made even more enjoyable thanks to the amazing drawings and animations.
