Give or Take is a cozy job sim about running your own little pawn shop and helping to restore a struggling town. It’s a peaceful, hands-on loop of buying, selling, repairing, and interacting with customers to support the community.

🏪 Daily Shop Life

Your day starts by organizing your shop counter. Keep things tidy, restock from your storage, and wipe away dusty items. Keep an eye on your calendar too, as special events will bring in crowds looking for specific categories of goods. You can also fulfill special requests by boxing up items and shipping them directly to a customer's address.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Customers & Deals

Every customer who walks through your door comes with their own dialogue, stories, and unique needs, whether they want to buy, sell, or get a broken item repaired. To make a deal, physically handle and stack cash from your register onto the counter and bargain to find the perfect price.

🔎 Inspection

Grab your magnifying glass and take a closer look at items to uncover hidden traits that can drastically increase or decrease their value. Some may be signed, antique, celebrity-owned, or even fake... and occasionally something that makes you wonder where it’s been. Careful inspection is key to making smarter deals.

🔧 Repair and Upgrade

Some items may be broken, dusty, or barely usable. In your workshop, you can clean, restore, and repair these secondhand finds. Merge items to upgrade their quality, turning common items into uncommon, rare, and eventually legendary collectibles.

🌲 Town Life

Beyond your counter, there is a small community to connect with. Step outside to visit nearby shops, chat with the locals, and support the town. You can help restore the area by donating specific items the town needs. Enjoy the peaceful routine of running your pawn shop, where every successful trade helps bring the town back to life.
