Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

NOT having the ability to purchase an upgrade where you can auto stock items nor having an upgrade to auto deliver items is a huge miss on this game. There are 9 districts. Each with 3 vending machines to own, operate, manage, upgrade, etc. You're telling me I have to go through basically every other district EVERY in-game day in order to micromanage my company in a "cozy" game. The art style, amazing. The music, a vibe. The concept, sweet. But not having a QoL upgrade in this type of game is a massive letdown and miss here.
Why you should or should not play Vending Machine Co.
Before You Read Every review on my profile is based on my own personal experience with a game. My opinions aren't facts, and you're not expected to agree with them—and that's perfectly okay. My goal isn't to tell you whether you should like a game. Instead, I try to explain what worked for me, what didn't, and who I think the game might appeal to. Constructive discussion is always welcome, but please remember there's a real person behind these reviews. Respectful disagreements are encouraged; insults, hostility, or personal attacks are not. What is Vending Machine Co.? In this game you own/rent vending machines in different neighborhoods in Japan! Quick Pros ✔ High replay ability ✔ Lots of content to explore ✔ Long playtime potential ✔ Interesting story ✔ Memorable characters ✔ Strong visual style ✔ Detailed world design ✔ Smooth animations ✔ Creative art direction Quick Cons ✘ Limited game play variety ✘ Repetitive Soundtrack Initial Thoughts: -"I love how I can change the colour of my vending machines and they all have such cute designs!" -"I wonder if there is an easier way to stock my vending machines, I only have four and its becoming a hassle already!" -"I have a damn rival in this game? Are we serious? Why is she so angry? Why does she look like a librarian? I WILL BUY YOU OUT GIRL!" Beginner Player Friendly? I would argue that this game is very beginner players friendly. The game developer(s) made a very in depth tutorial that describes all the ins and outs of what to expect in this game. There is also short cut key binds, which can be found in your journal that is located in your backpack! Game Play: In this game your goal is to be the best vending machine owner in town. But don't get to confident because your rivals can out buy you and competition could take you down- so make sure you get to the top first! Buy or Rent your vending machines and upgrade them to hold more items, repair themselves, clean themselves and more! You also need to stock your vending machines somehow, a local store assists with this and you can buy a large variety of items that you pick or that are most popular in the area! Graphics: This graphics in this game are absolutely adorable. They seem hand drawn and remind me of a children's cartoon that we would find somewhere in Japan. The game runs smoothly and seems like it could run on lower end systems. The character design is very cute, and each character has a very obvious personality linked to them. The environments are intractable and full of different life depending on where your vending machine is. Community: This game is a solo game, however, the community here is filled with many different styles of cozy gamers. They have all been friendly and everyone seems like they would give a helping hand if you needed it. How long can you play? I so far have around an hour in this game and have yet to unlock even a quarter of the entire map. I believe this game has quite a bit of play time potential and I can see myself playing until I have anything and everything I could possibly get. I would argue for logistics sake however that it would probably take me around 6 hours to complete the basic story of this game. My Opinion: In my opinion this cozy game is a fun and relaxing thing to play when you need some time to relax your mind. I think you should give this game a try if you are looking for some fun and relaxing vending machine game play. Overall Review ★ 8/10 - A cozy game where vending machine owners can also have rivals. ✘ Active Online Multiplayer (meaning people will interact with you in game) ✔ Family Friendly (meaning friendly to all ages) ✔ Solo Play ability (meaning you can play by yourself if preferred) ✘ Cross Compatibility (meaning you can play with friends through other consoles.) ✘ In-App Purchases (meaning you can buy things after buying the game i.e DLC's) ✘ Controller Compatible (meaning you can play this game with a controller) Enjoyed this review? Vending Machine Co overstays its welcome and turns repetitive vending/management into a tedious grind. The mini-games are simple and quickly get boring, and the game feels like it’s missing something to keep you engaged. As you succeed, micromanagement increases—more machines, more areas, more restocking and item-moving chores, with little automation—so there’s no satisfying relief from the busywork. The price also feels too high for the experience.
Hey idk how I became so addicted to such a simple game, but I did. It's so soothing. I have no good reason for sinking this much time into it
The game is way too long, after a certain point it becomes a mind numbing chore. It should be about 4 times shorter. The style is cute, music is nice, there is a decent amount of details but it is also a bit rough and way too tedious.
This is one of those games where I wish I could give a neutral for whether or not I recommend it. It's not a bad game. It's just not very enjoyable. I feel like it has potential because I really do like other games I have played by Rogue Duck, but this one just feels like it is missing something to keep me engaged. I would have asked for a refund, but I got this game in a bundle with another game that I did not want to refund, so that it the only reason I still have it. Once again, not a bad game, but not particularly good either.
I managed to complete this game by getting all of the achievements in just over 10 hours. The gameplay loop is very repetitive but that is to be expected from a management sim. Keeping track of each areas preferences could be a lot for people who get overwhelmed easily, luckily there is an in game guide that you can take a look at anytime and it tells you exactly what each person likes! Near the end of the game it did feel very tedious, specifically reaching day 200 as I had most of the other achievements done before day 150. The mini games in each area feel so refreshing after doing the same loop over and over again and some of them are very fun! Overall I’m glad I purchased this game and would definitely recommend it to people who enjoy job/management sims!
Fun! I didn't really agree with some of the negative reviews. I thought for a "cozy" game this actually had a lot going on to start with. But as you play it becomes easy and not something you have to worry about making mistakes. Its a perfect in between staying busy but not overwhelming. I liked all the extras and mini games and also feel like it plays at a good pace.
I love the art so much ,the vibe and the concept. BUT, the game is very slow :( You basically have to wait until things sell. I felt like time passed by and I was still too poor to do anything interesting. After 2 hours and a half, I am bored and moving on. At least that is how I feel right now. It becomes frustrating to me and why play if its frustrating?
