Happy Game

I do admit that I didn't finish this game- I only got to the end of the first nightmare as of this review, so maybe look at other reviews as well if you decide to get this game; For my part, I recommend when it goes on sale at most. Anyways, this game feels like it was trying too hard to be creepy- like the sort of common shock-form horror types- it comes off like some simulacrum of art that is divorced from why things are compelling in the horror genre. Saving is very difficult to tell, so when I got to the end of the first nightmare, my progress was deleted and I was still back halfway in the dream. Seems to be lots of blood just for the sake of gore, which, not a fan. Also very obtuse puzzles (does not say it's a puzzler in the tags btw), with no dialogue, which is not a deal-breaker for me when done right. Don't get me wrong - I love puzzles and detective games, when there's telegraphing or at least logic for why some things work and don't. I've played Year-Walk for instance, which feels like what this was going for aesthetically, but in a macabre fashion. I think I draw the line when I'm just guessing answers. Oh, and does not work with a controller. Perhaps steam controllers work, but custom ones don't: just selecting and moving things was agonising. So here's what genres I think this game fits under (and falls short of) Puzzler: obtuse, hints aren't subtle, but confusing Horror: modern and whimsical, not really substantial Psychedelic: visuals are fine, style works. That I admit. But needless gore and jump-scares. Perhaps the later night-mares get better, but I'm not so sure, and do not feel the need. Apologies if I was too critical, though hopefully I was fair.

突然发现是蘑菇社早期的首作，特别棒的一个制作团队😌 游戏全程依旧以解谜为中心围绕着足球，兔子玩偶和小狗展开一场精神分裂般的历程，很多场景似乎对应着小孩的人生部分，画风血腥撕裂严重，游戏画面让人疯狂掉san，很喜欢这种疯癫的风格，结局虽然写的是happy end，但一切似乎就是小男孩的一场梦，本身早已经被笑脸玩弄致死

Игра очень интересная красивая рисовка история интересная и сюжет, багов я не нашла и это большой плюс, ещё игра в моей коллекции и я полностью довольна, игру рекомендую.

God I loved this game. (No spoilers) The good things: 1. The art style this game has is so peak I loved every second of it. 2. The puzzles were always interesting and never really stayed the same (more on them later). 3. The story was a little confusing but I got a small grasp on it and it was alight im putting it here still as it is a good story just hard to figure out and leaves it up mostly to the player. The not so good: 1. The puzzles (again) since the puzzles never really were the same twice some got really confusing and some just had some not great solutions that in the end made the solutions so much simpler than you were expecting making you feel dumb for trying other things and being stuck there for a while. 2. The game does feel slow sometimes as there aint much pushing the story forward as there isnt much given to the player of what they are supposed to do and can make it feel sluggish. 3. The game aint that long its only 2.5 hours and leave you wanting more and i believe if they wanted to they could've done more. Over all score: I got this game on sale for basically $5 on that price id give it a 9.4/10 (its not on sale anymore btw) its normally priced at $15 what it is rn and for that id give it a 7.8/10 heavily still recommend

Здравствуйте все. Вы уж извините меня, но это что такое? Как такое может быть позволительно этой милой детской игре про сновидения, вместо поседелок с чаем, нужно отрубать тело какому то плотоядному зайцу, и выдерать глаза большому человечку с жёлтым шаром вместо головы. Прошу переделать эту семейную игру
