I have never played a more bugged game. The workers you hire are useless, the game keeps crashing or not responding and many tasks are impossible to complete because of the bugs.
Handyman Simulator has evolved into a more tolerable experience after a rough start, but it's still a far cry from what fans of relaxing renovation games like House Flipper might hope for. On release, the game’s frustratingly punishing repair minigames and stringent time limits made basic tasks a struggle rather than a source of satisfying progress. Unscrewing a door was an ordeal, and managing your repairs felt more stressful than engaging. Thankfully, the developers listened to player feedback. They rebalanced the minigames—especially the notorious screw-turning tasks—making them much less of a chore, and did away with time limits during these segments. Contract timers were also extended, greatly reducing the stress factor and making the overall pace more laid-back. For anyone who bounced off the early experience, it’s worth acknowledging that the foundation has improved. That said, once you get the hang of the basics, you’ll quickly notice how thin the content is. Most contracts revolve around repeating the same handful of actions—unscrewing, painting tiles in a tiresome, one-at-a-time minigame, and swapping out identical pieces of furniture. The lack of contract and house variety means repetition sets in fast. While you can technically hire workers and there’s a faint glimmer of business management, these systems are barebones and unreliable; hired help rarely makes a tangible impact, and there’s little meaningful decision-making to be found. A few oddities in NPC interaction add to the sense of shallowness. Your wife wanders aimlessly around the tutorial apartment, repeating the same few lines, and most NPCs are just set dressing. The world itself is visually pleasant enough but feels stilted because of this and the reused house layouts. Bugs and technical problems seem to crop up for some players, from unresponsive menus to outright crashes, and for achievement hunters, dragging yourself through the meager content repeatedly is more a test of patience than skill. If you’re desperate for a handyman game and appreciate how much the developers have improved things since day one, you might squeeze a few hours of relaxed tinkering out of it. Just know you’ll be fixing the same doorknob for the umpteenth time before long. If your expectations lean toward rich gameplay depth, variety, or creative renovation, you’ll find Handyman Simulator lacking. As of now, it’s a competent but underdeveloped foundation that will need more updates and content to become genuinely recommendable. If the developers continue at their current pace, it’s worth keeping an eye on—just don’t expect to remodel your enthusiasm right away.
well i dont really like it thats just my opinion
It's a $12 tutorial. After the tutorial (which leaves out incredibly important notes; such as the difference of persistence between the two in-game shops.) you have an infinitely repeatable set of repair jobs that you can experience all of within an hour, or so. The variables are minimal. The highest paying jobs are just "Repair everything". The game tells you to repair the living room, and likes to hide a bunch of things to repair in offices on the 2nd floor. The game hard crashed my entire PC and deleted my save ~90 minutes in. Lots of little bugs are sprinkled throughout the game. I don't mean the insect kind. The little red screwdriver is completely broken; at least on a mouse. Enjoy making extended (counter)clockwise motions. The game is incredibly demanding to run at max settings. The game also randomly lowered my settings at some point. Game's English translation is sub-par. "Correct" does not mean repaired; FYI, but sometimes it does. Most items you fix/replace have 1 version in 1 brand. A select few don't. Your job progression is measured in customer satisfaction; meaning you need to memorize what items actually have 1 than one brand, or go through a clunky half-PC, half-console, and half-mobile control scheme of a menu to remind yourself on every single job. The game has QTEs that require you to press a button many times in one second. The tutorial itself introduces you to the worst offender. A QTE that I had to bind a macro to spam a button every 1ms in order to complete. Game is terrible at expressing time. It gives you an HH:MM clock of in-game time which is actually a MM:SS time of real life time. It doesn't tell you this anywhere. This makes understanding job time requirements hard when they say 48:00:00. If I look at the clocks, then this means I have 48 days, right? Is it 48 days, or 48 hours in-game time? Is it 48 hours, or 48 minutes IRL time? Whether it's DD:HH:MM, or HH:MM:SS is beyond me, because I've never taken 48 minutes to complete a mission. Most of the longest ones are done within 10. It's not like I completely hated it, but I can play flash games with more depth. $12 for something this bare bones, missing QoL, and occasionally non-functional seems crazy. I can buy a dinner that lasts longer than the unique content in this game for $12. Definitely not recommended.
I'M HERE TO SAVE YOU TIME AND MONEY!
DO NOT BUY THIS GAME
The game is pretty ok, but gets really tedious very fast. There a re like 10 different things you could do and there is no really story. The NPC that is your wife has like four or five different sentences and the workers doesnt seem to know any thing they do. Its all in one the same as the Prologue with maybe a few little things more. Even though its not unplayable it not really recommendable due to the lack of content. I cant recommend it
Handyman Corporation

Bom jogo.
This game sucks straight up, very repetitive, after tutorial nothing really new to keep you coming back. Do NOT Recommend
