It expands the content of the first game, more campaigns, more gambits (so faith is not only 4 card shuffles), it adds companions with some encounter having different flavor text depending on who you bring, combat feels more fluid; it has 2 more types of weapons and artifacts. Only con is 100% the achievements is harder compared to the first game, and feel repetitive, mostly the endless mode ones.

Played this game years ago but did not have it on Steam, just picked it up with all the DLC at 60% off. Honestly, really good game. Good deck builder, has dice rolls and other chance games like the pendulum and wheel. As others have said the combat kinda sucks, and the character models aren't great either. All in all it's one of the best board game type games out there, and there's unlikely to be a third because the developer is out of business as of 2019.
