Take The Shape of Evil as Michael Myers or save your neighbors as a Hero of Haddonfield in Halloween, the ultimate asymmetrical horror sandbox.
As Michael, players wear the mask, become the Boogeyman, and stalk innocent residents with relentless obsession. Utilizing a nightmarish array of abilities, Michael leverages shadows and stealth to satisfy his bloodthirst. This doesn’t mean Haddonfield is going down without a fight. Frightened townsfolk will call the local authorities and even fight back when threatened, incentivizing Michael to avoid detection. And for the first time ever, fans of the transformative original film will have the option to witness the haunting narrative events surrounding "The Night He Came Home" through the eyes of Michael Myers in a standalone singleplayer story mode.

In dynamic and ever-changing 1v4 asymmetrical multiplayer matches, hero players must arm themselves with everyday household items, weapons, and knowledge to combat an unpredictable and unkillable enemy. Convincing townsfolk and contacting the police will lead to increasingly powerful and thorough neighborhood patrols. To even the odds, you can command and equip NPCs with weapons to outsmart or even overpower The Shape, providing precious windows for escape.
This immersive horror sandbox is powered by Unreal Engine 5 to deliver engaging and dynamic gameplay systems, life-like NPCs, hauntingly realistic visuals, cinema-quality lighting, and endless scares for you and your friends. Asymmetrical horror comes home in Halloween.

it def has its issues anyone who says otherwise is lying. I don't have any of the optimization issues so idk bout that. But the NPCS in this are dumb af that def needs to be fixed. (To keep them alive just hide them for now). They'll spam doors to where you cant get in. Run AWAY from exits or if told to go to an exit they'll hide?? AS A SURVIVOR MAIN we need some stamina or sprint speed nerfs. Michael cant catch u so basically hide the survivors and then stay on the streets and you basically win. Maybe increase his detection ability too it feels really slow but I also haven't played him to much so that just could be me. Honestly though I've been having a blast and would have more time if another mil sim game wasn't in its playtest this weekend also.... Def get the game but if you do just know right now its a buggy mess. Games like this can do good if we stop destroying them with negative reviews off rip

Эта игра намного лучше той помойки в которую превратилась DbD. Достойный наследник "Пятницы".
I love this game already fav killer oat and I will be enjoying this game :)
Its fun but does take some getting used to. The comedy of the interactions, unique game play everytime and even a lot of the bugs only adds to it. It's in its test phase now and being patched. I think it's totally worth it and will only improve over time. Tons of fun tho, if you can be patient
I like it
The real battle isnt micheal. Its the AI. If you're a survivor, expect the most frustrating gaming experience ever. The goal is to get AI to escape. However, they seem to not want to listen, You tell them to follow, they will go do something else. You're by an open escape? Tell them to leave! IF it even gives you the command prompt, But if youre lucky enough where the game detects an open exit, and you tell them to leave... they will go inside of the house and lock all the doors and close all the windows on you. Have fun exhausting resources on breaking down a door or a window just to try again. While they stand in the corner and stare at you after you tell them to follow. As a survivor you can be doing everything right, but bad AI will throw the game for you. Queues are currently showing this problem. Everyone wants micheal and no one wants suvivor, But hey. At least you can pay to be first in killer queue and wait over 10 minutes looking at 3 empty spots no one wants to fill
good game
Fun, Intense, Don't seem to understand the hate behind it.
The game is so interactive. Their are some early access bugs but the devs seem happy to fix them as quickly as possible. The game play loop is addictive and arresting Mikey is hard but with a coordinated team getting a civilian victory is pretty doable. my new favorite game with friends! The solo campaign is also good and the challenges and different death animations make every playthrough worth it!
