Bad controls, near no game, buggy af, color palette hurts me eyes.
Sadly just not fun. Controls are just annoying with aim and move being the same. Would be better if you could remap all the keys. I think it speaks volumes that less than 10% of players have achieved completed the first section and less than 5% the second... Hard challenging games are fine, but this games controls just make it frustrating to play.

Fully complete all of W1-5 Goal levels with some W6 complete as well, decided to try the target levels as well but the game being bugged to 22-23 fps means you won't be able to get proper times for 3 star in target levels... Actually impossible
Good 3-5 hours depending on how good you are at platformers (more if you're going for the completionist runs). Level difficulty is all over the place. The mechanics are interesting. Wish it had a community level editor. If you're looking for a platformer and are ok with it being short then thumbs up from me. Otherwise not sure it's worth $10 when you can get a lot good stuff on sale for 10$ and this this hasn't been on sale in a long time per SteamDB.
It kind of seems like a passion project. And it isn't a terrible game in my eyes. But at the same time: It's not worth it. There's a lot of similar stuff on steam. But most of it is cheaper, or more fun. My main issue with this is the control. That character movement feels weird. Which is simply sad with a platformer. The difficulty spikes quite fast as well. Which would not be much of an issue. But with the clunky controls: It is pain. It seems like it tries to be challenging. But that result feels annoying instead. As such: I truly can't recommend this.
So, I stumbled into the Humble Bundle maze like a digital Indiana Jones, armed with only my credit card and a questionable sense of fiscal responsibility. Lo and behold, I emerged with a game that's more thrilling than a rollercoaster operated by cats.

¿Balance? ¿Eso se come? Y la historia, bueno, realmente espero que no hayas venido por ella porque está tan desarrollada como una ensalada en un asado. Y bueno, las voces... ¿qué voces? HackyZack is a challenging game, but it is also a lot of fun. The game's controls are tight and responsive, and the levels are well-designed. The game also features a great soundtrack that helps to set the mood. Overall, HackyZack is a great game that is sure to please fans of 2D platformers and puzzle games. The game is challenging but fair, and it is a lot of fun to play. I highly recommend HackyZack to anyone looking for a new challenge. I'd like to be able to recommend this, difficult games are good to have in your library. However, I don't believe this game is simply difficult, I think it is designed poorly. To start of you have the absolute whack keyboard controls that seem like are designed for a completely different game and they decided to include them as a joke. With that in mind it wouldn't seem strange to me that a lot of their bonus pieces in the levels were placed at random because quite frankly they do sorta look it and a lot of them seem completely out of reach to anyone without hacks. Of more concrete note though the timer implementation is exceptionally harsh and sucked the fun completely out of the game. The couple levels I played/tried (with a gamepad) seemed to me like they would be completely serviceable without the timers or at the very least with lengthier timers as a base. Overall great idea, you had me in the first world, I'm not gonna lie. But they you kicked the hackyzack right off the edge of the map because the devs were using a keyboard to play when they apparently should have been using a t9 dialer, as that is how god intended people to code.
