Nice and simple space shooter game with great bosses. Can't wait to play the sequel!

Fantastic shooter that respects your time and rewards your effort. Not crazy-difficult like some shooters can be but has enough of a challenge to keep you coming back for one more try. Great game for such a small price.

Простенько и со вкусом. Неплохой шутерок в ретро стилистике. На нормале проходится за пару часов, после чего открывает хард мод и пару других режимов, типа классического вертикального Invasion. Ничего инновационного, но атмосфера приятная.

Неплохой шмап с приятной пиксельной графикой, прокачкой, пауэрапами с новыми открывающимися режимами, с умеренной сложностью. Из минусов могу отметить совершенно никудышный и заунывный саундтрек и однообразный левел дизайн, что вообщем то можно простить, т.к команда разрабов была небольшая, а за музыку и программирование отвечал, если верить титрам, всего один человек.

This is a great little retro 2D space shoot em up which is punching well above it's weight. It's like playing a shooter on my old C64 with the game design being top notch. I completed the story on my first play through with normal difficulty and was invested enough to jump straight back in on the hard mode and the game still felt fresh. The upgrades bought for the ship are not lost as you proceed though the different play modes and it makes the game even more addictive. The game always feels fair in the challenges it delivers and the developers seem to really have a good grasp on what makes this sort of game fun. As the game combines both horizontal and vertical action, this is A definite purchase for fans of both genres.

If you like shoot-em ups this game is for you. Good old-school graphics, nice soundtrack, enemy variety is good and the difficulty is challenging but fair. Plays nicely on the Steam Deck.

Shmup carino in maniera commisurata al prezzo. I livelli sono molto ordinari con l'eccezione dell'eventuale cambio di direzione che lo rende un vertical od horizontal shmup all'occorrenza. Non c'è un grande senso della progressione in termini di sfida e i pattern dei nemici sono poco creativi. La difficoltà normale è in realtà molto facile, quella difficile è difficile ma nella maniera sbagliata perché semplicemente viene riempito lo schermo di nemici in maniera piuttosto disordinata. Deludente la OST che di solito in questi giochi viene curata bene. Di nuovo, non particolarmente brillante ma va bene per quel che costa.

Habroxia is something I normally wouldn't have played. I like "space shooters" or [i]schmups[/i] of whatever thematic quite a bit though so I decided to forgoe the profile feature limited worries and give this one a go. I'd say this game really earns it's stripes! A testament to a game is always when the gameplay outshines the cutscenes; that's the case with this game. You could say that just means the cutscenes should be better; but in reality we interact with the game most outside of those instances and want gameplay to handle and be as pretty as possible. I typically don't review a game until I'm done with it for a bit but decided to do so just after beating normal mode just in case it helps this title any. I picked up Habroxia 1 & 2 (90% off for $1.48) an insane value for a game that is simply fun to play. Cheers to hoping 2 is as well.
