GYLT

Gylt is an amazing title and definitely one of the most moving survival horrors that I have ever played. You are Sally an 11-years-old in a small American town in the mountains. Your cousin Emily went missing a month ago and you have been frantically looking for her, biking throughout the town and putting up posters. One night, bullies are hunting for you and you damage your bike. To get home, you sneak to the cablecar and catch the final ride. This ride take you back to your town, except as it is seen in a nightmare. As you search the nightmare town for Emily, you will discover not just where you are and why, but also your own guilt in your young cousin's disappearance. As you find Emily, you will also find what you yourself did. Gylt is not as frightening or as visually striking as Silent Hill 2, but it is genuinely more moving by the time you reach the end. This is a really good game.

What a great surprise this game turned out to be! GYLT is super atmospheric and delightfully creepy. There are a few well-placed baby scares, but don't worry - it's never too scary. Instead, it keeps that eerie feeling going almost the entire game, and I loved it. The story is incredibly interesting and had me hooked from the start. I just had to know what on earth was going on. The voice acting is fantastic, and the characters are memorable, which made me even more invested in the journey. The puzzles are pretty straightforward, so don't expect anything that'll make your brain melt, but they fit the game well and keep the story moving at a nice pace. I had an absolute blast hunting down the achievements. Everything can be earned in a single playthrough, but I actually decided to play through it a second time anyway - and somehow it was just as creepy as the first. What really stuck with me, though, was the theme. I'm so glad the developers chose to shine a light on bullying in such a thoughtful way. It's an important subject, and I think they handled it really well! Overall, I'm so happy I picked this game up. If you enjoy atmospheric adventures with a great story and just the right amount of creepiness, I can definitely recommend giving GYLT a try!

Сначала думал что что-то в духе LN 1-2.... но оказалось просто приятная бродилка с полуоткрытым миром с прятками... Сюжет простой и вся история раскрывается если собрать все книжки... Но геймплейно приятно и просто, за пару вечерков можно пройти.....

Very cute, charming game. Good enemy designs and just enough gameplay mechanics to keep things interesting. Doesn't overstay its welcome at all. Easy recommend for a rainy weekend.

Grundsätzlich eine geniale Idee. Durch den Hauptcharakter verliert das Game allerdings an Emotionen. Viel zu erwachsen und sorgenfrei. Kann man spielen, man verpasst aber auch nichts.

I LOVE GYLT! it's cute game,yet it still has a creepy atmosphere,on top of that the lore is great too!

*GYLT* was a wonderful surprise for me and easily one of those games that stayed with me long after the credits rolled. The atmosphere is fantastic, the story is engaging, and the world does an excellent job of balancing creepy moments with genuine emotional depth. What really stood out to me was how much I cared about the characters and the themes the game explores. The gameplay is straightforward but enjoyable, and everything works together to create a memorable experience without overstaying its welcome. Honestly, I struggle to find anything I didn't like. The game knows exactly what it wants to be and delivers it very well. I've completed it three times by now, which is something I rarely do, and each playthrough reminded me why I enjoyed it so much in the first place. If you're looking for a story-driven adventure with a unique atmosphere and a lot of heart, I can highly recommend *GYLT*.

A great addition to the survival horror genre. This game is just long enough that it keeps your interest without wearing out its welcome. I loved it - immaculate vibes and great music to boot!
