⭐ A Stylish, Emotional Hack-and-Slash with a Killer Concept ⭐ This game has such a strong and memorable core idea. You play as Jane, an agent of the GwenBlade organization, diving directly into the minds of patients to confront their psychological struggles head-on. Each level is a surreal, dreamlike manifestation of a person’s soul—built from memories, emotions, and trauma—and it makes exploration feel meaningful rather than just decorative. The environments are creative and constantly surprising, with platforming challenges that feel woven into the story instead of tacked on. But where the game really shines is its combat. Battles are fast, satisfying, and packed with choice. You’re constantly getting stronger through stat upgrades, currencies, active abilities, and passive effects that dramatically change how you play. One run you’re setting enemies on fire with your jumps, the next you’re shocking them with lightning or detonating foes just by sprinting past them. The boss design deserves special praise. Fights like “Pressure”, a literal crushing embodiment of stress, are both mechanically clever and thematically powerful. Watching the boss physically weaken as you deal damage is a brilliant way to tie gameplay directly into the game’s psychological themes. The hack-and-slash combat feels great, mixing swordplay with the raw energy of an electric guitar—an inspired combo that fits the game’s personality perfectly. Every run feels different thanks to deep customization, encouraging experimentation and replayability. Overall, this is a confident, stylish game with a strong identity, fun combat, and a surprisingly thoughtful emotional core. If you enjoy fast-paced action, creative worlds, and games that aren’t afraid to get a little weird and meaningful, this is absolutely worth your time.

Awesome, like it!
It's a bit easy, it's predictable, the story is vague and inconsequential- but it's clearly a passionate project. By the looks of things this is a new dev and someone who only just started working on games. Being into games, it's important to appreciate a game dev's vision and unique artistic identity regardless of if it's rough around the edges. I recommend yes, but in its current state only get it on sale. The combat is fun also, even if a bit floaty and lacking challenge.
If you like fast paced action roguelites, you'll enjoy this. Very unique concept, but it seems like the dev has gotten better in GwenBlade2. I played the story mode and unfortunately there's no real eding, but I still enjoyed my time with a game that cost me $2.

A very visually stunning game with a good soundtrack and fun gameplay loop. there are some small issues however, such as the English translation, strange camera angles, and the UI not always fitting the screen correctly. Also had a bug where Hao's dialogue became Jane's day 2 dialogue Tight gameplay mechanics and fun level design really make this game really fun!
I was quite lucky to play this game at a local indie game fest. I also had a 2-hour gaming session with the creator of this game. After that, I bought the game but my potato laptop couldn't run it properly. The combat system looks good. In theory, it makes you want to combine all 3 main elements: RMB attacks to remove the shield, a couple of LMB attacks followed by an F special. Although the game fails to have a better difficulty curve: 90% of the game feels easy and then you get destroyed by a few attacks when you stop paying attention. :D I would give the game credit for having a fancy-looking combat system, especially for an indie game. It does look spectacular. I enjoyed the upgrades and their variety: there are unique passive and active abilities, some of them have special effects like grouping enemies together. But there is a downside here: the balance seems off. The guitar primary weapon + needles (pure damage) tear through enemies by a LMB spam. The active abilities were a bit overwhelming because the combat pacing is fast. You have LMB, RMB, F, dashes, movement, and several active abilities on 1-4 buttons. Maybe it gets easier to use them when you get more comfortable with multi-tasking. Style-wise, this game is great and it maintains a consistent look. I like that the main mode has many different biomes that looks so different, yet they still fit the aesthetics. I understand that this game is finished now and it's quite OK it its current state. It's playable and enjoyable. I would say it can be a good game for a 5-10 hours. But it also looks like there was a potential for it to be a 15-25 hours game. The game lacks some polish in many places: some orbs are stuck in the ground, cutscenes are interrupted too fast, the combat doesn't feel balanced enough. But there are also moments where it shines, like beautiful scenery and moments of exploration (this game includes multiple hidden rewards which is nice). All in all, I hope this is not the last game from this developer. Best regards.
A beautiful and melancholic yet also dynamic and hopeful hack&slash action, reminiscent of Nier: Automata in its aesthetics, level design and gameplay. I too wish to be able to get inside people's head in order to one-shot their depression with the power of a sick riff
