Guns of Infinity

One of the most comprehensive choice games ever

EARLY MODERN WARFARE KINO but I have a minor complaint about the ending I got I objectively failed the mission, yet later the game acted like I succeeded. Very jarring how after the battle my allies all admonished me for my failure, but people after acted like the outcome of the mission was successful.

Пишу рецензію відразу на три гри Sabres of Infinity, Guns of Infinity, Lords of Infinity. Не бачу сенсу писати різну для кожної, в результаті це все одно одна суцільна історія. Можна взяти окремо першу, щоб оцінити, а ось брати другу або третю окремо я не бачу сенсу. Історія доволі цікава і різноманітна. Є доволі багато варіантів проходження гри, особливо в другій частині. В мене сумарно вийшло 17 годин на проходження всіх 3 ігор, і це одне проходження з кількома перепроходженнями окремих моментів. Один великий мінус, який би я виділив це неможливість відійти трошки назад на минулий чекпоінт, якщо тобі не подобається історія. Це більше менш фікситься в третій грі в якій після кожної глави в тебе питають чи хочеш ти її перепройти чи ні. В перших двух іграх, тобі треба проходити з нуля усю гру до моменту який тобі не подобається кожен раз, що доволі бісить.

Guns of Infinity continues from Sabres of Infinity, with the player being a cavalry commander fighting in a Napoleonic Era-like environment. After the conclusion of the first book, the player rises in rank and begins commanding a larger force while furthering their relationship with characters, both old and new. The game improves upon the formula used to make Sabres of Infinity and also builds upon it. The fallout from the climatic battle in Sabres of Infinity means that you are now promoted and given poor-quality troops along with lieutenants who are of mixed usefulness. You need to whip them into shape while fighting partisans who harass you while traveling, storming cities, and leading cavalry charges, fairly similar to Sabres of Infinity. However, the higher rank means the actions are bigger and more important than they were before. Furthermore, the story flow between incidents and battles feels much smoother than in Sabres of Infinity, as the player traveling from one battlefield to the next is itself incorporated into the story. The larger size of the book compared to Sabres of Infinity was used to successfully flesh out many of the characters as well. Your now partially paralyzed commanding officer, your new young lieutenants, the secretive agent from Royal Intelligence, the new irresponsible ambassador, and your fellow officers in the army get a good chance to show off who they are. The book also introduces romance options, which were absent in Sabres of Infinity. Another piece of good news is that the ending of Guns of Infinity feels almost complete by itself without being a cliffhanger. The main war story plot that was introduced in Sabres of Infinity wraps up here, as the sequel transitions to a story that is about the effects of the war on the homeland and its consequences. I think it is very likely that if the player enjoyed Sabres of Infinity, they will enjoy Guns of Infinity as well.

Сюжет невероятно понравился, но вот концовка оставила вопросы без ответа. Каков итог войны? Что получило королевство? Скажут лишь немного, что королевство одержало победу, король выдвинул амбициозные требования, но потом при посредничестве другой страны король всё же пошел на уступки....и на этом всё. О чем вообще речь, почему не сказать хоть что-нибудь? Чего хотел король, что он в итоге получил? Были ли присоединены новые территории? В чем смысл всех жертв и жестокости войны? На эти и некоторые другие вопросы так и не будет ответа, а жаль....

Everything to do with Cassius alone is enough to recommend and that's before I get into the dopamine rush every Dragoon gets from butchering the Serfs of Antar. Go play Sabers, then play Guns, then play Lords, then wait 8 years until Wars is finished.
