This is from the perspective of a casual player who is a dad, so less time to play than I would like. Gunmetal Arcadia took me back to the days of NES Castlevania and the like, but with the addition that every playthrough is different and there are no save points, if you die you go back to beginning and need to start a new game. The only time the game felt unfair was towards the end where you sometimes face some spikes on the ground, those are insta kills and the first time I fell on them going back to resupply for the fight with the boss was disheartening, granted it does not take long to finish a playthrough, yet it felt as if the game did not value my time. This insta kill should be removed and replaced with a high damage or something in my opinion. Also, my face fell when I realized there are multiple heroes to choose, this is not intuitive on the selection screen nor show up or is explained in any part of the game. All in all, it was a great experience and a worth purchase, recommended.
This game is just wild, one of my favourite games in a 34 year gaming history. What drew me in were the similarities between this and the smash hit Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, and my love for rouge like action. But I really fell in love with this once I dug in. CRT effect is great and the art style has some really nice detail for an 8Bit style. There are a good number of weapons, upgrades and buffs. Levels are procedural, they are well done too. It feels fresh every time I play. Interesting story, helps if you play the other Gunmetal game (great game too). The story is light and does not get in the way. The music is wild, it is very digital with influences from NES and Commodore 64, At least that is what I hear. I love it. It's strange in some ways, but it feels deep. It's a great game all around, there isn't much I can criticise. Does not need much to run, great on a laptop. It's perfect to pickup when you have time for a quick game of something. It's entertaining, has fast action and is very engaging. Worth full price.

NES fans will love this.
Basically if zelda 2 met the binding of issac. There's a lot of skill in the combat as well as a lot of RNG. Most of the damage I took was because of the stupid ladders. It's short but if it was any longer it would overstay it's welcome. I would tentatively suggest this game at a 65% discount, if a couple hours of content is worth it. That said the item balance is all over the place and there's definitely a couple of them that in combination make the game difficulty a joke.
boring
mal juego
A decent little roguelite game with a lot of Zelda infuence. Can be a bit too random, even unfair, but still enjoyable and varied
Really great concept and very promising start is marred later on by constant cheap shots that are impossible to avoid.
man i'm sorry but this is super lame i don't like it
Zelda 2 meets castlevania meets roguelike. it's great, give it a try
