оторвите мне жопу, но это самая смешная игра для минмакса. кажется простой, но дайте ей шанс, дойдите до уровня кошмар
Boring loop. Guns are meh. UI is tedious and confusing. Stages are repetitive. Characters are sluggish and slow. Feels like it takes forever to go room to room. Gunplay is solid and reminds me of borderlands without being able to pack multiple weapons and the general wackiness of them. I don't recommend this game and I got it on sale.
some boss fights very unfair. dislike
Gunfire Reborn has a rather deceptive sense of calm. One moment you're casually opening chests, discussing upgrades with friends or carefully picking your next scroll, and the next the room is filled with explosions, projectiles and enough enemies to make your health bar reconsider its life choices. Sometimes all of that happens in the span of a few seconds. Its art style, weapons, heroes and abilities all work surprisingly well together. Each character feels distinct enough to encourage experimentation, and the roguelite progression ensures that even failed runs usually leave you a little stronger or a little wiser for the next attempt. The developers have continued supporting the game with regular updates and new content over the years, which is always appreciated in a game built around replayability. Some cosmetic items being time-limited is a little unfortunate, although thankfully it never feels intrusive or particularly aggressive. Whether playing alone or with friends, Gunfire Reborn manages to remain enjoyable. Solo runs feel more methodical, while cooperative sessions tend to drift naturally from careful planning into complete and immediate disaster. I can easily recommend it for both.
Amazingly fun, exciting FPS to share with my kids. I really enjoyed playing this from the start and have recently begun playing with my kids, which has been a blast. Not something you play for the story, soundtrack, or dialogue - just simple run and gun fun.
I had higher hopes for this game, the gameplay is alright but doesn't feel as engaging as I thought it would, movement feels lackluster (at least with the starting character), can't sprint, dodge feels like it moves me half a centimeter instead of actually being a good repositioning tool, the enemies are overall boring, the bosses are eeeeh, guns are interesting but a lot of the mechanics feel unnecessary even when I can see the vision, the vaults for instance feel like they were trying to go for a challenge rift type beat similar to dead cells but it ends up just feeling like an extension of the level due to their abundance and a waste of time since I have to come back to the level afterwards, the rewards inside said vaults are also the same kinda rewards you get form clearing the normal room, the ammo types also don't feel like they introduce anything interesting to the gameplay loop, a lot of scrolls work to replenish ammo and enemies drop tons of ammo, guns may use a lot of ammo but I never ran out while playing, I also never felt the urge to keep swapping between weapons, I don't see how it would be useful to do that when I can just keep indefinitely upgrading one and just get way stronger that way when you couple it with upgrades to that weapon damage type and such, overall the game felt pretty weak, I tried to like it and it looked fun but it felt too rough and unpolished when compared to other games of a similar nature, maybe co-op would make it more engaging (I doubt it) but I don't think that should be the main draw of a game in this genre to be honest.
