This game is my first ever fighting game so I may be slightly biased, so maybe take some of my takes with a grain of salt. (if you don't want to read my yapping just go to the bottom to the conclusion) I have about 200 hours on ggst through xbox app, but switched to steam since Xbox app is piece of ♥♥♥♥ that only works 3/10 times. Pros: Easy to get into - out of all the fighting games that I tried, Strive is the easiest to get into, thus why its fairly popular even among people who never played fighting games aside from MK on a slumber party. Some old fans might say that its bad that the game got easier, but I disagree. Like why would you not want something you love get more recognition so you could have more people to connect with? Ost - this game has the best music oat. Every song is perfect and reflects the character perfectly. You definitely heard Smell of the game somewhere on the internet. Learning curve - the learning curve is not abysmally difficult nor almost nonexistent. Its like easy to understand what to do, what you can do in specific scenarios and how to do combos in practice, but in an actual match its 2x difficult to implement everything you've learned quickly without mistakes. Like you will always find a new tech in practice, but in an actual match it will take you twice as long to atleast do half of your combo string you did in practice. Cons: No option to demo characters from season passes - I saw alot of people talk about that and I agree, they need to do something that allows you to try out for a set amount of time a character from a season pass before you buy it. Or they could do an option where specific 3-4 characters from season passes become accesible to play for a week, next week another batch of season pass characters etc etc. and you wouldn't be able to use them outside open park and practice. Best case scenario, make a 1-2 character from season pass 1 free when the next season pass launches No new cinematic story - I don't think many people will care about just as much as I do, but I really was expecting them to make another cinematic story for the 2.0 update since in the credits we see that HC is very much alive. Currently the game is the healthiest it has ever been, character changes that were implemented were for the better (though a vocal minority might disagree with me). There is alot to learn in the game and when you finally manage to get your first ever combo string that you practiced for days in an actual match, you will feel ecstatic! and of course the music is just banger after another banger.
compared to dragon ball fighterZ this ♥♥♥♥ gave me an aneurysm , i'd rather end myself at the earliest convenience than play this garbage
This is an amazing metal soundtrack with a fighting game as a bonus. The "campaign" is a big movie that you can watch too. And if you run into a Happy Chaos player, just run and don't look back.

I love that dolphin!
Mankind knew that they cannot change society. So instead of reflecting on themselves, they blamed the Beats.
Really fun gameplay i love it. its not for rage quitters though.. please don't rage QUIT!
Haven't got more than 10 hours and I love it! Really fun to play with your friends, though it costs alot to buy the characters sadly.
