I normally avoid mobile games and ones with battle passes because I hate FOMO and limited time paid content with a burning passion. I also have hated every other fighter game I've played. Strive unfortunately has really fun characters, I say unfortunately because the characters I like to play are almost constantly in the bottom tiers whilst the less complicated ones I find brain dead and boring are top tier. That wouldn't have warrented a negative review but given they already charge a hefty sum to buy the base game plus all the DLC, (at the moment the "starter edition" is $128 in my native currency.) But now they've added paid battle passes. I want to play this game but with this battle pass being a constant reminder of how most games by big publishers are just about draining your bank account as much as possible I never close the game in a good mood. Is it fun? It definately can be. Are there better things to do with $60-130? Yes, definately.

Great game with wonderful art style. Definitely one of my top five favorite games. Runs surprisingly well on my laptop (granted with low settings) but some games on low barely run and for this one i'd say that its impressive. Highly recommend and hope anyone who does play enjoys it.
