The Grizzly bear is one of the greatest wild animals in North America. The number of fatal human attacks is actually low. They do not naturally hunt people to eat. However...
Genre
Ein kurzes First Person Indie Horror Adventure
Story
Hauptsache Geld abkassieren, sowas ist echt ein No Go 👑 Powered by HoI 4 Deu Curators group in German / English 👑⠀⠀⠀

Follow Main group
 Follow Second group
 Follow third group

Warning: Asset Flip!
Grizzly Valley is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. Grizzly Valley is a fairly basic Unity asset flipped first person horror adventure, one of many hundreds, if not thousands of these glutting Steam. The "developer" ripped off a few Unity assets, arranged them haphazardly in a first person adventure game template, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The developers didn't design the game for modern gaming PCs, as such the display resolution caps out at 1080p, a very low resolution that became mainstream back in 2006 and became obsolete when 4K entered the mainstream in 2014. The game simply won't look right on modern gaming displays due to this failure on the part of the developers. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this only happened once, around the same time that trading cards were applied to the game... so this is just card idlers getting their cards and moving on. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards.
Warning: Review Manipulation!
This game features a small number of fake positive reviews from accounts known to be in the business of review manipulation/paid reviews. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product. Grizzly Valley has the preposterous price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the unethical nature of the developer. Remember that if you buy a game from an unethical developer, you're putting your money at risk. This is also competing with over 9,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
Sounds in this one are more scary than the actual game.

Grizzly Valley, developed and published by The\_Kiddy, is an indie survival horror game that attempts to deliver a tense and grounded experience set against the backdrop of the rugged Canadian wilderness. The premise is straightforward yet effective: you play as a character who ventures to visit his sister but quickly becomes stranded and stalked by a relentless grizzly bear. This setup offers a unique survival horror angle that eschews supernatural elements in favor of a more realistic, nature-driven threat, aiming to immerse players in a harrowing fight for survival where every choice matters. The gameplay in Grizzly Valley is divided into two primary phases. Initially, players explore the protagonist’s home, scavenging for essential supplies and tools that will aid in the survival journey ahead. This part emphasizes inventory management and careful decision-making since the items you carry directly impact your ability to withstand the threats of the wilderness. Once outside, the focus shifts to navigating the vast forest, managing resources, and avoiding or confronting the bear. The tension is palpable, as the threat is ever-present and the environment feels both expansive and hostile. Stealth and strategic use of tools are critical, as direct confrontations with the bear can be deadly without proper preparation. Despite its promising concept, Grizzly Valley has struggled to deliver a fully polished and satisfying experience. Many players have reported issues with the game’s controls, which often feel clunky and unresponsive, detracting from the immersion and making tense moments frustrating rather than thrilling. The AI behavior of the bear has been described as inconsistent, sometimes behaving unpredictably in ways that break immersion or undermine the intended suspense. This erratic behavior makes the core antagonist less threatening and can lead to repetitive gameplay patterns that diminish the sense of danger. Moreover, the game’s graphics and animations, even for an indie title released in 2016, have been criticized as outdated and lacking in detail, which further impacts the overall atmosphere. From a technical and design standpoint, Grizzly Valley falls short in areas that are crucial for survival horror games. The pacing can feel uneven, with long stretches of exploration that lack meaningful encounters or escalation, leading to moments of boredom. The limited progression system offers little in terms of evolving challenges or character growth, which might leave players feeling stuck in a loop rather than engaged in an unfolding narrative or survival struggle. These factors combined have led to a generally negative reception on platforms like Steam, where the game holds a "Mostly Negative" rating, reflecting widespread dissatisfaction among its audience. Financially, Grizzly Valley has had a modest impact, with sales numbers and revenue remaining relatively low compared to other titles in the survival horror genre. This outcome may be attributed to its niche appeal and the mixed critical feedback that discourages wider adoption. The developer, The\_Kiddy, has also released other projects that have similarly struggled to gain traction, indicating challenges in achieving broader recognition and success within the competitive indie game market. In summary, Grizzly Valley is an earnest but flawed attempt at creating a grounded survival horror experience centered on the primal fear of being hunted by a wild predator. While its premise and setting hold significant potential, the game’s execution suffers from technical issues, uninspired AI, and a lack of depth that prevent it from fully engaging players. For those interested in survival horror, especially with a focus on realistic wilderness threats, it may be worth exploring with tempered expectations, but there are other titles on the market that provide more polished gameplay, richer environments, and a stronger sense of progression. Grizzly Valley serves as a reminder of the challenges indie developers face when trying to balance ambition with limited resources and technical constraints. Rating: 3/10
Actually the best game I have ever played, truly life changing. 10/10 Better than Spider-Man 2
