Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Aug 23 → 3.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
The feel of movement and combat picks up right where Grime left off. Parry cancelling the attack motion is amazing and makes the slow weapons much more viable. Soundtrack has definitely improved since the first game, as well as the art, which is gorgeously spread all throughout. The backgrounds really pop and have a lot of depth and color. Few minor negatives, sometimes the speech selection doesn't seem to recognize the first input, and I think I saw a text box repeat itself a couple times. Of course not impacting game play, just slightly taking away from the immersion. One boss has questionable hit boxes but once you realize not to get close it's fine. Overall highly recommend...another very high tier Metroidvania from these devs!

GRIME 2 - Recommended - 8/10 Another great game with interesting combat, exploration and builds. It keeps what made the first game good and gives you more to play with. Again some of the platforming was painful for me because platforming is definitely not my strength
Grime 2 is an incredible dance of colours and beauty than takes your hand and drags you in a whirpool of excitement and curiosity. The story is compelling, characters are fascinating and the story is exceptional. I had so much fun with this game system that is complete, various, exciting and drives you to perfection, to try things out and stare in wonder at all the combos you can discover. My two nitpicks for this game are: - It needs an NG+ mode. With all the types of movement you can unlock, backtracking for rewards is something I look forward only when the last two bosses remain. But at that point, I have no need to furhter power up my build, so why bother? With an NG+ mode I can run the game again WITH all the movement options unlocked, that can led me to discover all the hidden little things and immetiatly get them. - For the same reason, it needs a system to guide you to the things you missed. If you are going to give me a map completion percentage, I want to have a good and user-oriented way to catch everything that I missed. A white map doesn't help you with that. I have the last area cleared at 78% but the whole map is unlocked. What did I miss? How can I get that? I don't want to double check every marker on a collectible online map. My biggest issue is:
Palladium and beyond. Huge sections of the map full of environmental storytelling that takes you at least 4 hours to complete. And they are barren and empty of life. No one is speaking to you, keeping your drive up. It could have even been a simple Manzil dialogue at the start of the area, driving you forward. Instead is an ocean of nothingness. Sure, there are enemies to fight and you can look and question and ponder. But you are alone with your thoughts.

And, as Goel said, it gets boring after a while.
