Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride

Cette série est sans doute une des meilleures d'Artifex Mundi (les trois volets sont excellents). C'est ravissant, on se laisse emporter dans cet univers de contes de fées. Les décors, les personnages, le gameplay, le scénario : tout est soigné. Le top du jeu casual, idéal pour un bon moment

Banger Hidden Object & Point & Click game. Every hand drawn art looks amazing, overall the game looks just great, no argument. Puzzles are fun, few challenging but never 20+ minutes of my time frustratingly hard. And story is pretty interesting, almost funny like an old tv drama. Only once there was a "how was I supposed to know that?" moment, which is very commendable for this genre of game. Highly recommend.

не могу порекомендовать никому именно эту игру, особенно на русскаом - кривые зоны действия (то слтшком большие, то слишком маленькие) - ошибки в переводе, в результате которых просто нужно прокликивать всю зону иначе вот вообще никогда не догадаешься, что имелось в виду - сомнительная логика некоторых решений (из серии "нам нужна веревка, но 100500 веревок в этой же комнате нам не полходят") Сюжет, как обычно ,не блещет, но явно сюда не за сюжетом ходят. В общем откровенно не в восторге, есть и получше игры того же жанра и от той же студии

I play on a Mac and I ran into to bugs, the first almost made me quit before even starting. The mouse arrow was stuck in the top left quadrant of the screen. I figured out how to get into the menu anyway (the shown arrow is not where the actual pointer is!) and deactivated custom arrow. This solved it. However you have to do this for every new save game. I had 2 because I thought I could get around the second bug. After maybe 10 minutes of game play there is a scene where a tutorial popup opens (one of way to many) that points to a domino game or something like that. But then the game is stuck. Nothing is clickable anymore and I had to force quit. Tried 3 times, always the same. Gave up. Puzzles are extremely low level anyway. Just click a few times here and there. Can't understand the good reviews. Maybe it's getting better, but I cannot find out because of that bug with the frozen game.

Overview: an older but enjoyable HOP game, some of the graphics show their age but thats not inherently a bad thing. You are required to play through the game twice to get all achivements, as you need a fresh playthrough with no hints used, no skipping of puzzles, watching all cutscenes, doing all of the dominos (which are an alternative option to the HOPs) and on advanced mode. Buy it on sale if possible. Accessibility pros: master and sound sliders, multiple difficulty settings, voiceovers for cutscenes available, custom/default cursor options, fullscreen toggle, all cutscenes & HOPs available in the extras menu to watch at any time, all achivements and special items tracked in the in-game achivements menu, click to skip short cutsenes, skip button for big/cinematic cutscenes, multiple save slots, prgress is saved to each in-game user profile when uninstalled. Accessibility cons: shakey cam for many of the cutscenes and some of the post-cutscene gameplay, minor flashing, colour dependant puzzles with no colourblind friendly alternatives Content warnings: spiders, skulls, kidnapping, death, mummies, knives of various kinds, entrapment, kind of forced marriage in a way, someone forced to give up their infant children to be adopted, trypophobia Flashing safe? minor flashing in some cutscenes Any Issues? I really dislike the built-in ads on the home screen, they are cluttered and often link to pages that dont exist anymore. Some closed prctice items like dreamcatchers and locks/locs/dreadlocks are shown or used by non-black and non-native characters, respectively. As the game is so old and a bit niche there's very few community guides, which can make the game quite frustrating at times Any improvements? It's a decent game and holds up pretty well, though obviously if it was made or remade now it would require better acessibility considerations and some minor changes. The full price could be cheaper as well, as its 20$AUD, though i did happen to purchase it on sale for around 5$AUD which was a more afforadble and worthwhile price to me. Some of the cutscenes and loading zones made my mouse move exteremely slowly for a little before fixing itself. I also wish the extras pannel had the option to play the dominos games as well as the HOPs. The cat is criminally underused, to the point i forgot they can help with puzzles
