Really enjoyed playing this game! The cyberpunk aesthetic works so well, and that dial-up ringtone when you enter the game instantly hit me with a wave of nostalgia. What stood out to me was the beat. I found myself getting in sync while navigating, which made everything feel smooth—until a pressure-based level kicked in. I had a hard time with my first encounter—the Format Wipeout level. When it starts closing in, the pressure ramps up fast, and I can’t help but move like a cornered hamster. I definitely had a few panic moments there, but it made things even more engaging. I’m a fan of puzzle and rhythm-based games, and this one really pulled me in. Looking forward to diving back in and finishing it when I get the time. Thank you for making such a great game!
Really enjoyed playing this. The music and overall aesthetic hooked me right away, and I liked how the gameplay constantly pushed me to stay in sync with the beat. Moving and doing actions with the rhythm felt satisfying, and the challenge kept me focused the whole time. Overall, a fun and stylish rhythm experience that kept me engaged and wanting to improve my timing.
What a fun game! This is what hacking feels like in movies and I love it. It has cool mechanics, very engaging, good tutorial, nice visuals, and great voice acting not annoying at all.
I really love the concept behind the game and I love that they are really making you feel that you are in a code system where you fight malwares in the program. I never knew adding music would be a great mechanic in the game and because of the music its more cooler to play, you've already got a bg music. I wish they can even change the music when the environment is changing or when it depends of the mood of the game. They can remove the characters selection in the start of the game because I can't see the relevance of it. But Overall it is a really good gamee I really enjoyed it and I didn't realized that I was playing it by an hour now hahahaha.
It's a fun rhythm game. It reminds me of Crypt of the Necrodancer. Beautiful colour palette however just a tad bit overstimulating especially if you've been playing for a while. The music is easy to play to and very chill to just listen to which makes focusing on the beat easier. The game's pretty easy to pick up.
I like that this is a nice take to a rhythm game. It keeps you mindful about moving to the beat and the music is really fun to listen to.
The music was highly enjoyable with beats that were easy to pick up. It's a unique storyline to pair with a rhythm game, that of a computer hacker navigating through computer system. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be playing a lot more of it.
GRIDbeat! is a rhythm game with a hacking-style setting. You play as a hacker trying to escape a corporate system after stealing a large amount of important data from a big corporation. Visually, the game is bright, with good design and interface. It also features voice acting. The game is not easy, and if you don’t have a sense of rhythm, it can be quite difficult, as there are several additional mechanics besides the rhythm that make the levels more challenging. It won’t be for everyone, and I think the price should be a bit lower. Neutral Review. When I first saw about this game I really had no clue what I was getting into. It was one of those blind game buys where I don't know what I am expecting. One hour in the game itself feels fun to play and has that good challenge to play it. Other than that, the beats...its something I recall back when I kept listening to the Tron soundtrack by Daft Punk or something similar. Anyways that's my review and will get to finish this game sometime because I really am enjoying it as I go through the game's juicy LOOOOOOOOREEEE.
If you like puzzle games and music games, Gridbeat is really fun to try! It mixes both, so you have to think and keep up with the beat at the same time. The music is awesome, and it helps you solve the puzzles. Every move feels better when you match it with the beat. Some levels can be a bit hard, but it still feels fair and fun. It’s a great game to play when you just want to relax but still use your brain. I think a lot of people will enjoy it. I really recommend it!
