Greyhat - A Digital Detective Adventure

This is a really great game. I tend to lean to more cozy games, detective games, etc. This one was a little stressful at times, but the kind of stress you enjoy. I can tell a lot of love went into making this game, and if you like detective games, you should totally give this a try! The story was really great, and I felt it had a complete ending that closed it all off rather nicely.

Some of these interfaces are excruciatingly painful to navigate... Some parts of the game like directing plane landings, anything with the street map, and the menu interfaces all feel like they were built for a 2002 flash game. Inconsistent story sometimes, too. Dennis Porter was the killer in the Cassandra Watkins case, but the paper said it was Peter Chamgerlin. The main storyline dribbles out like an old man's urine. Stinks

An interesting take on the detective and hacking genres with a cool storyline including sci-fi elements and many different types of puzzles within the different jobs. Due to some randomization elements, there's also replayability. I really enjoyed this game a lot and recommend it, despite some finnicky bits in the puzzles that can get irritating.

like the video game version of a hunt-a-killer. greyhat is so fun and involved and, for me personally, just the right level of difficult when it comes to problem solving. some of the minigames are brutal, sure, but that adds a layer of variety. honestly 10/10 i would recommend this game to anyone looking for a little puzzle game to play. thoroughly enjoyed and i thought the story was good af.

It's puzzling how such a fundamental issue slipped through quality control before release. - Awkward Mini-Game Controls: Some of the mini-games suffer from poorly designed controls. The lack of WASD support feels like a missed opportunity. Whether it was a design choice to increase difficulty or not, the end result feels sloppy. Overall: Cool game, cool story, not too hard, kinda cheap, nice ending, a few annoying bugs.

Got this at 80% off, didn't expect much, found diamonds 10/10 experience, would recommend

After Orwell and Cyber Manhunt, this game scratched an itch I had for a long time and it did so very well. It didn't turn out the way I expected, but ... I'm satisfied. Well done, would play again.

I loved this game! Some of the puzzles are a bit tedious, I would recommend for a sequel having an option where the player can have multiple documents or files open at once. But otherwise, it was great! I'm currently in search of recommendations similar to this, it kept me entertained for several days. I feel like most games like this I can do in one sitting. If anyone has any recommendations, let me know!

The story of this one hits hard and is very well thought out. Not much QoL settings, but I believe the story more than makes up for it.
