if you like wasting time and having a plot weaker than wet bread this is the game for you
Так себе реализация, тут работать и работать над игрой, но разраб уже пилит Ремастер! Я столько не умирал ни в 1 игре, ну кроме сифон фильтра 1, давно на джостике не играл и отвык, а тут даже оправдания нет.
This is not very good, the story isn't very engaging (and has almost nothing to do with War of the Worlds), the stealth gameplay is dull, and the crafting system is unrewarding. The game has very long, drawn out segments- leaving the plane crash goes for too long, exploring the house/barn goes for too long, the driving sequence leaving the barn goes for too long. On the positive side, the game is pretty and the sound design is good. The developers are working on a remaster that hopefully fixes a lot of its issues
One of the most unimaginative War of the Worlds games ever, level design is bland, autosaves are painful you can get almost to the end of a level and if you die you go all the way back to the start of it. Supposedly this game was getting a "remaster", but I have no idea if they actually did it or not because it's still broken. The enemies are so simple you can literally run past all of them and finish the game in a couple of hours, tripods look cool i guess but that's it. No explanation for why all the enemies in the game are humans, there's about 2 scenes with tripods in and other than that you're dealing with human enemies that teleport in front of you just so you have something to avoid but like I said you can just run around them and pick up all the items you need to get through the levels. The part I find the funniest is that this game has a "New Game+" so you can keep all your "upgrades" for the next playthrough, as if anyone will willingly play this game twice.
3인칭 게임에 FOV 옵션 없는 게임 극혐.
eu acho que esse foi um dos piores jogos q eu ja joguei na minha vida, qualquer jogo de guerra dos mundos no roblox é melhor doq isso e eu nao estou exagerando
Its fine...just REALLY boring. A glitch let me move out of the play area and wouldn't let me back in, I had to restart the last checkpoint. But when that checkpoint was 10 minutes of play earlier, I realized I didn't care enough to bother replaying, so I'm uninstalling this. Some of the other reviewers said the game gets more fun later, but I found the play mechanics so clunky that I can't imagine the latter parts of the game being any better. But in their defense, anything is more fun than the beginning scene where you wander in the woods, or where you drive down the road for minutes on end.
I've played 2.6 hours of this game so far, I've only just got to the first tripod chase. This could be my lack of skill or the initial slow pace of the game. You have 2 long walk sequences which seemed very unnecessary, then as mentioned by a previous review: if you change anything in the settings it resets to the last checkpoint. And when you're halfway through a slow stealth section, it kinda kills your motivation. During the tripod chase, they've made it so the beam tracks you, not such a problem in the initial are as you can run around and dodge it. However, in the next scene you're running towards the camera with the tripod chasing you. Look absolutely brilliant. But this is when the tracking comes in, if you leave cover even a moment too early, it tracks you and insta-kills you. After doing multiple attempts, hiding when needed and still getting killed by the beam, it becomes less intense and more annoying. This game looks visually amazing and I have enjoyed the game so far for the most part. But some of the mechanics need tweaking I think. I am not a game developer so I don't know the ins and outs or how hard it is to make. The developers should be very proud of the game they've made. But from a gamer standpoint it's frustrating when a game looks so good and appears to fall short a little.
Haven't finished it yet, so keep this in mind. The developers said they were gonna work on a remaster that'll address the problems, then remove this from sale. That hasn't happened yet, but if you want to take that risk, buy a copy while you still can. I got it for less than 2 bucks, but that sale won't last much longer, and I don't know if there will be a second one. Pros: - Fantastic music. The moments with licensed songs go on too long, but the original score is really well done. - Solid atmosphere. Some moments are graphically off-putting with how clean and and untouched everything looks. But usually it's really nice. Cons: - Terrible checkpoint system. Not nearly as many as there should be, and for some reason changing simple things in the settings, like subtitles, will cause the game to restart to the last checkpoint. Speaking of which, subtitles don't work for me for some reason. - Poor stealth/level design. Stealth is too slow, aiming distraction objects makes you stand up with not great reach, and levels aren't well designed for the stealth or climbing over things, making it all very restrictive.
there needs to be more about the aliens less about sneakness
