Could be good, but its premature finish is well... premature. Good idea, poor execution. Imagination with no depth.
First: The in-game cutscense are movie quality. Game play is exceptionally lackluster. Too few units with no abilities. They start you out in the middle of nowhere with absolutely no instruction on how to do anything. The "Must be attached" with limited attachment points... isn't creative... it's just needlessly irritating. So, strategy is: Zerg. That's it. Just overwhelm with numbers. -_- Without an active and interactive tutorial, I can't recommend this. Honestly, they probably would have been better suited to just make a movie...
Fun game!
A short but nice strategy game. Pros: nice graphics, videos and quick to learn. Cons: limited variety of units and tech, long loading & succumbed to the Silence.

I am really enjoying Grey Goo. I picked it up in the sale years ago but never got a chance to play it. The art is excellent (look for the jumping fish), cut scenes well voiced, species different and interesting and campaign okay. What more could you want from a modern day old school rts.
We need Chinese!
As a fan of Petroglyph's previous work as Westwood Studios, I most certainly did enjoy the gameplay. However, two things stick out: 1. The campaign story is meh. Nothing interesting or groundbreaking. The plot twists are neat, but characters are flat and the environments are uninspired - mostly brown and grey. 2. The gameplay is actually quite slow. Very slow movement speed, very slow build times, rather large maps. This does encourage calculated macro play and possibly opens up the potential for micromanaging, but the game was designed around zero active abilities, meaning that you're more focused on what the enemy is building and how you might counter it. If you want to play multiplayer, check out the official Discord server and download the Quickscript Maps via Workshop.
