About
Break the laws of physics, dash and shoot your way through levels full of hazards and machines gone rogue. In this retro game, you control Project Gravity Storm, an advanced machine able to control gravity itself; however, the mother computer will not make things easy for you.
In Gravity Storm, you start with all the abilities. Mastering all of them gives you a lot of options to demolish your way through the game, but using them all is not required.
Your most powerful weapons are the super abilities, which are enhanced versions of your regular abilities, and are limited to your power bar. They aren't necessary to beat the game, they are thought as optimization tools. However, they make your life easier, and they look cool.
The Super Laser deals lots of damage, and destroy enemy projectiles, you move slower when using it, and It lowers your power bar slowly.
The Super Flip allows you to flip gravity and transforms you into a fire ball at the same time. Deals a good amount of damage to your enemies and also destroy their projectiles. It takes a third of your power bar.
The Super Dash allows you to dash in the air, goes further and faster than the regular dash and also you are inmune to damage. It also has the effect of stunning any enemy if they happen to touch you. It takes a third of your powerbar.

Un juego bastante divertido con controles muy fluios, buenas mecánicas, su buen toque de dificultad y un pixelart muy bonito. Espero que este desarrollador siga sacando más juegos :D
I had a lot of fun with this game. I'm a huge retro gaming fan, and this brought me back to the likes of Metal Storm for NES. The animations were cute, and the music was great. The gravity switching mechanic (and overall controls) worked great, and added some extra challenge to getting through certain paths throughout the game. Kudos to Jampley Games for this one! I definitely recommend giving this game a try, especially if you're into that retro platforming vibe.
Indie game with incredibly smooth control; Even in the more challenging rooms it's feels great, with a lot of different mechanics you can use to your advantage. I really enjoyed playing the game, I'll be revisiting it to get some more achievements done. I love that even though it's short, it has replayability value. Highly recommended; I really hope to see more games from the dev. :D
I play a lot of different action platformers so I'm not easily impressed but this one definitely impressed me. It features the cool mechanic of gravity flipping from one of my favorite NES games in Metal Storm. You have a energy meter which allows you to execute a few different special abilities and overall just controls incredibly fluidly. There's a nice variety of enemies and some challenging but not frustrating boss fights. The pixel art is solid and the music is pretty good too! Couple all this with a passionate developer that clearly wants to make the best game they possibly could and you've got yourself a game that gets a easy recommendation from me. There's plenty of content here but the better it does the more that'll expand. Pick this one up if you're looking for fun platformer that incentivizes replayability through high scores and speed-runs but doesn't force that aspect of the game on you as a requirement. This is a very fun action platform game with some puzzle elements. The gravity switching mechanic affects the whole environment, which is not only fun to see, but is needed to pass some enemies. The game is pretty hard, but in a good way: you see what you did wrong and eventually you are able to pass (checkpoints are frequent). You often have to plan your moves ahead of time. Talking about moves, the controls are simple but the ability to systematically combine a basic action with a direction is what gives a lot of depth to the gameplay. Finally a special mention about the bosses: they are everything you would expect from a retro inspired game: they look cool, they are tough, and they are very satisfying to beat. I wholeheartedly recommend this game.
This game is tons of fun! The mechanics can feel overwhelming at the beginning but once you get the hang of it, manage your resources, and get to know the enemies and bosses, you feel like a total war machine! The small details are EVERYTHING! I love the fact that every enemy and even your character have their own personalized low health visual, BUT THE MAIN CHARACTER'S ONE IS THE BEST! HE EVEN LOOKS AT THE MISSING ARM LIKE "SHOULDN'T THERE BE AN ARM HERE?" The OST is great! The vibes go super well with the Retro style of the visuals! The mood is on point in every level and even the final score of each level theme is a CERTIFIED BANGER! Overall is a really awesome experience! And for the price tag it is a steal! Now if you excuse me, there's a 19 minutes record someone just uploaded, so I need to practice to beat it!
Gameplay is king, game is reminiscent of the NES game Metal Storm with a similar mechanic of changing gravity as you make it through the levels. So far I've found it challenging but fun and I am going to stick at it.
Graceful and nuanced. I would recommend playing it to see if you got the retro gaming chops that it tests. It's hard enough to keep you hooked.
Very strong. A classic feeling game with some very satisfying game juice. The one drawback is it's a bit hard for me as a dyslexic but that's how it goes with this affliction...
