About
Break the laws of physics, dash and shoot your way through levels full of hazards and machines gone rogue. In this retro game, you control Project Gravity Storm, an advanced machine able to control gravity itself; however, the mother computer will not make things easy for you.
In Gravity Storm, you start with all the abilities. Mastering all of them gives you a lot of options to demolish your way through the game, but using them all is not required.
Your most powerful weapons are the super abilities, which are enhanced versions of your regular abilities, and are limited to your power bar. They aren't necessary to beat the game, they are thought as optimization tools. However, they make your life easier, and they look cool.
The Super Laser deals lots of damage, and destroy enemy projectiles, you move slower when using it, and It lowers your power bar slowly.
The Super Flip allows you to flip gravity and transforms you into a fire ball at the same time. Deals a good amount of damage to your enemies and also destroy their projectiles. It takes a third of your power bar.
The Super Dash allows you to dash in the air, goes further and faster than the regular dash and also you are inmune to damage. It also has the effect of stunning any enemy if they happen to touch you. It takes a third of your powerbar.

Takes the Metal Storm format and makes something maximalist in systems and Super Meat Boy-esque minimalist in pacing and flow. Was hard to play, I felt myself running clumsily through each area because of how many buttons and abilities there are. Still worth a look if you like this style - level design is thoughtful, and pacing is smooth
Amazing game mechanics I've never experienced before. Every boss and enemy is super fun, not only in their fighting style but also in their unique designs. Level design is also really good and clever in how they MAKE you use the particular abilities of the game and to find clever solutions around puzzles. I was very impressed with this platformer. Is challenging enough that makes me feel well accomplished and is the perfect weekend activity, doesn't take too much of your time and every minute is worth it. Music goes absolutely crazy too. Level three's is my favorite!
Great game, didn't think I would be so entertained by a platformer! I absolutely love the unique mechanics, and even though this game can be very challenging from time to time, it's definately worth it's price. 10/10 would reccomend
Very Fun Game ngl . the mechanics and the gameplay its all great . highly recomended
I play tested this game when it was in development and I must say, for a simple run and gun action platformer with a simple art style, this game is very well polished with fluid mechanics. Jumping, dashing and especially the gravity mechanic are all very smooth. Level design is very well thought out and keeps your attention at every moment. There is always either a simple puzzle or a few enemies to shoot up. Not to mention the use of the gravity mechanic for some fairly challenging parts, but is fair at the same time. The game has a few boss fights too, which are all challenging, but doesn't feel unfair. The special attacks are satisfying to use especially the mega laser. The game is also in my opiniion fun to watch someone play. Would highly recommend. Only thing I think this game needs is even more levels. For a great game like this I believe the developer can easily come up with many more fun level designs and boss fights.
Had a really good time with this, really reasonable in terms length and difficulty. And it works seamlessly on Steam Deck.
I had a lot of fun with this game. I'm a huge retro gaming fan, and this brought me back to the likes of Metal Storm for NES. The animations were cute, and the music was great. The gravity switching mechanic (and overall controls) worked great, and added some extra challenge to getting through certain paths throughout the game. Kudos to Jampley Games for this one! I definitely recommend giving this game a try, especially if you're into that retro platforming vibe.
