Reviews
Despite my previous save disappearing I have to say I really love this game.
Got game when it was free earlier this year. similar to others in the genre, decent changeup, but progression and tech tree is known only to devs and maybe not even them. Pretty sure they were trying to make a stardew clone then had a stroke.
good ♥♥♥♥
Confundiram o cemitério com a cozinha. Muito bom
Played on Linx
Graveyard Keeper is a cozy management simulation game where you died in the first minute of the game, refuses to acknowledge your own death, and is trying to find a way back to the living world to reunite with your loved one. It's a nice and relaxing game, with simple mechanics and a final goal set for you. This game is very much like the horse drawing meme, where it starts with a very interesting gameplay loop, but by the end you are almost being forced to finish it, dragging the corpse of the fun you had along the way. Graveyard Keeper is a nice and fun game, it's just too bad it didn't quite know how to keep momentum until the end. 7/10 would keep a graveyard again.
Graveyard Keeper was my first game in this genre, and what surprised me the most wasn't the management systems—it was the game's personality. On paper, it's a cemetery management game. In practice, it's an intricate web of interconnected systems where every small objective leads to three more. You ask for a finger and the game hands you the whole body. Strangely enough, that's exactly what makes it so satisfying. Every mechanic exists for a reason, and slowly untangling that knot never stopped being rewarding. What truly elevates the experience is the writing. The world is delightfully absurd, filled with sarcastic, eccentric characters that feel memorable without trying too hard. The humor reminded me of Monty Python dropped into medieval bureaucracy—dry, clever and surprisingly consistent. The story isn't trying to be epic, but it constantly gives you reasons to want to know what happens next, with quests that naturally weave into one another instead of feeling like isolated errands. The game isn't perfect. A more detailed map would have saved a lot of unnecessary wandering, the fast travel system could have offered more destinations, and while the zombie automation is a fantastic idea, I never felt it reached its full potential (whether that's because I didn't optimize it well or because the system itself is a bit limited). By the end I was starting to feel a bit of burnout, but not because the game became bad—it simply had given me everything it wanted to teach me. And it taught me quite a lot. For a genre I had never really explored before, Graveyard Keeper turned out to be an excellent surprise: intelligent, funny, surprisingly deep, and full of personality.
Ho comprato tutti i DLC. Ora attendo il due, mi mancava un gestionale del genere, davvero divertente, mi sono bloccata un paio di volte ma per fortuna la wiki mi ha salvato! Consigliato
By far one of the best games I have ever played. Loved it!
O jogo é muito divertido e possui bastante coisa pra fazer. No entanto, é bem repetitivo em alguns momentos. 8.5/10
