Granblue Fantasy: Versus

Granblue has been described to me as the beginners fighting game and I can't help but agree. For someone new, figuring out what they like and don't like about it works as a great gateway to figuring out what type of fighting games they'll like playing. My biggest complaint is that neutral interactions are overly lengthy for a footsie's based game and over half the raster is dlc. I do like being able to do dust loops off of a dragon summon though.

One of the best fighting games to get started. Simple skill system for beginners, to learn basics before learning directional inputs. Cool story mode, totally recommend.

game feels barebones and lackluster, especially after playing the rising demo. no reason not to just wait for rising to come out since it's better in almost every way

Admittedly I don't know much about Granblue Fantasy. What I can tell you is that the art style here is fantastic. Controls and overall fighting feel well thought out. There is also a single player mode called 'RPG Mode'. The mode is relatively short and simple and is a nice addition when other fighting games don't have much beyond an Arcade mode and online matches for their offerings. My only complaint here is related to anyone who might want to also collect all the trophies. One of them is attached to finding/crafting a specific weapon. The weapon can be earned by playing through RPG Mode for a second time on hard difficulty and getting to the end for a specific mission for a specific material. The other way to obtain the weapon is to use the in game gacha system where you can roll for weapons. Other than that, the game is fun and easy to recommend if you can find it for $10>

not a fan of heavy fighting game but this game make me interest to granblue series. love this game
