Gorogoa is an elegant evolution of the puzzle genre, told through a beautifully hand-drawn story designed and illustrated by Jason Roberts. Winner of Debut Game at the 2018 BAFTA Games Awards, as well as Best Mobile Game and the Innovation Award at the GDC 2018 Choice Awards.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.86/day in the week to Aug 23 → 9.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

this was genuinely an amazing game. this was the first time i've encountered gameplay mechanics like this and my mind was actually blown away by how everything linked together. i must admit i used some guides to help on some of the puzzles (chapter 5 i am looking at you specifically.) but doing so did not remove my immersion with the story and game itself. everything is hand drawn and that is a feat in itself. i enjoyed myself thoroughly playing this!!!

Gorogoa
☐ Loved it ☑ Liked it ☐ Not for me Weighted rating out of 5
3.43

Summary
In Gorogoa you manipulate panels on a grid, stacking and combining them to solve puzzles. Best for: Players seeking an original puzzle experience that feels like an interactive art book. Fans of visual clues and experimentation. Skip if: You want explicit story guidance, clear objectives, or replayability. You may find it too brief and abstract.
Review
Beautiful and quaint puzzle. I was just dropped in, no explanation, no introduction. That made the entire thing feel like an exploratory adventure. The game challenges and stimulates a lot of fun aspects: pattern seeking, curiosity, memory, thinking outside of the box... Also found it forgiving in terms of allowing me to test and try, and when the tiles click it's a great feeling. There are some visual cues for how you can interact with the tiles in terms of zooming out or panning. In the menu you can turn off the hints for zooming in. There are no cues or hints for when it comes to moving tiles between the squares. So looking closely at the tiles' content and their silhouette to see patterns or things that might fit together made a huge difference. And then, honestly, just trying to drag things around could often progress things. To this day I'm not really sure what the game was about. It has a short run time of just an hour or so, so I'd definitely pick this up during a sale. But I also found the run time apt; more would be tiring and would start to wane on the game itself. If you like to chase achievements, you can run the main game in about 20 minutes. So don't worry about having to optimize it, one can afford to play it through blindly first run. This game's so unique and clever. Absolutely beautiful.
