I played this when it came out and I didn't get it. I was expecting more game -- "walking simulators" weren't really a thing back then. I spent a little over an hour exploring the house and learning the story, and put it down. I recently came back to get the achievements and ended up playing through it again, and I really enjoyed it. It's a beautiful little story told through journals and found objects. Exploring the house is fun, and the voice work is top notch. Highly recommended. Check out the developer commentary as well.
I thought this was a really cool, fun game. I can see I haven’t found all the hidden stuff but I have finished the story and I really liked it. I think the story was interesting, I liked the investigation elements and the voice acting! Some things I figured out right away and some things surprised me till the end! Very enjoyable!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

the controls are very bad but the game itself is really cozy and good
This one is a total vibe Fr its really short about 3h so u can finish it in one sitting the 90s aesthetic is so cool and the storytelling is smooth u basically have to investigate everything to find out the ending its super chill but the silent house sounds make it feel creepy definitely worth a play if u want a short mystery
in my opinion, this game is a masterclass in walking sim design. The story is very touching and there were multiple moments that really dug deep for me. The music is also great and definitely complements the voice acting, really making you empathize with the story's characters and what they're going through as you slowly uncover the big picture. Unrelated to the story, one of the biggest positives of this game for me is the clear attention to detail put in by the developers to make the world feel real and lived in. I feel like most walking sims I play are very static in that there's usually not much for a player to do other than walk and look. Obviously, you do plenty of that in this game as well but what really stood out to me was how many little details the developers implemented that I wouldn't even think about if they weren't there, but really appreciated when I experienced them. An example of this would be (very light spoiler)
all the cassette tapes you can find around the house and listen to.
Another one would be a personal experience I had early in the game where I threw a book on top of an office chair and saw that the chair actually spun from the momentum of the book landing on it. Outside of these small interactions, I also really liked how almost every single object in the game has some significance to the story. (slightly less light spoiler)
Figuring out that the skull I was looking at in the very beginning of the game was actually a gift from Lonnie was really neat and definitely helped me better connect with the characters.
All these details together create a world that geniunely feels larger than the sum of its parts. TLDR: the game is really good and can easily be beaten in one sitting. you really have no excuse to not give it a shot.
Se jeu es relativement court mais efficace, j'aime la beauté et le fonctionnement et l'histoire est passionante
