If you've ever dreamed of playing mini-golf on the ocean floor, inside a wizard's garden, or through a course apparently designed by someone who lost a bet with gravity, then Golf It! might be for you... assuming you don't care too much about things like physics, logic, or understanding where the hole actually is. I usually try to finish games before reviewing them, but Golf It! managed to defeat me long before I defeated any of its maps. The biggest problem is the complete lack of a useful mini-map. Many courses twist, turn, climb, dive, and loop around in ways that make it nearly impossible to understand where you're supposed to send the ball. Half the challenge isn't playing golf—it's figuring out what planet the hole is located on. The second issue is the power system. Many holes feel less like a test of skill and more like a memory exam. Hit the ball with 63% power? Perfect. Hit it with 62% or 64%? Congratulations, you're now exploring a completely different section of the map. Not every course suffers from this, but enough do that it becomes frustrating rather than rewarding. Success often feels less about reading the terrain and more about trial, error, and eventually surrendering to muscle memory. After about three hours, I realised I wasn't having fun anymore. I was just repeatedly launching a golf ball into the unknown and hoping for the best. Maybe the game shines with friends in multiplayer chaos, but as a solo experience, it felt less like mini-golf and more like an anger management exercise. There are better mini-golf games outhere.
