Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The Golden Era of open-wheel racing is about to begin. Do you have what it takes to lead an iconic team through one of the most exciting decades of motorsport history?
As the head of a team, you'll make pivotal decisions that shape the destiny of your drivers and the performance of your cars. Allocate your budget wisely across drivers, support staff, car development, and sponsorships to gain an edge over the competition. Manage big personalities to get the most out of every member of your team.
But don’t forget – racing in this era is unpredictable and intense. Golden Lap is no ordinary motorsport management game.
Safety measures are improving, but accidents can happen. Car technology is advancing in leaps and bounds. You aren’t racing spreadsheets, and there’s no such thing as a guaranteed win – which makes victory all the sweeter.
Every season is an opportunity to etch your name in racing history. Whether you're turning a back-marker team into a championship contender or taking on the pressure of maintaining a dynasty, your decisions between races and championships will be the key to your legacy.
Hire the right crew, develop your cars, make the right calls on race day, and meet your sponsors’ goals. All while making sure not to go broke!
Build a winning team with drivers, a head engineer and a crew chief. Every hire comes with rich personality traits that affect everything from finances to car performance and skill behind the wheel.
A driver with rich parents may look like they’ve saved your team by helping out with money - until they turn out to be a party animal and cost you the championship by showing up tired on race day. Your head engineer might bring down the rest of your team with their grumpy attitude, but if they’re a magician with a wrench it might be worth it? Only you can judge what your team needs.
Golden Lap is a minimalist take on the racing strategy genre, with an intuitive UI that displays only essential information and makes it clear what each decision means – though it won’t make the decisions themselves any easier!
The amount of options and information involved in motorsport can be overwhelming for someone not familiar with it. Golden Lap cuts out the micromanagement and lets you focus on the big picture, with depth where it matters.
Shape your own racing universe from the ground up by customizing teams, drivers, and fine-tuning the crew's skills and traits. Add new sponsors, craft intricate car designs, and unlock endless possibilities!
Whether you’re a seasoned modder or a newcomer, the mods feature will empower you to create a unique and thrilling experience. Join a vibrant community of creators and share your masterpieces, or challenge others with your custom-built championships. The road to glory is yours to pave!

Motorsport Manager is a favorite game of mine. I feel like Golden Lap took a lot of the things that liked from that game, simplifies the rest, and added a few of their own. One of the things I thought was missing from MM was that crashes was rare and random. In this game, it feels like they make more sense, and even have heavier consequences as your driver can die, or be out for several races. Otherwise the game is very similar, just with a more minimalist approach, as you never see your cars, but just the map view. I ended up blasting through the whole first season in one sitting, and I am sure I'll play through the next ten, to finish off the decade.

A very fun F1 manager that is complex but not complicated. It has a Modern-Retro design and I would highly recommend to just a person who enjoys manager games, not just F1 fans. The pit-stops and tuning is a my favorite thing about it. The career mode is also great, but there is also quick races if you'd rather that.
Fun, simple game for F1 fans managing an F1 team.
Love this game, a simpler version of F1 Manager 24, my only gripe is I wish there was a mulitplayer or co-op league mode so my friends and i could run a season together as different teams
Good game for few seasons. Pretty simple and easy. AI is kinda bad (sometimes they pit with few laps left while having decent tyres. And what is bothering me the most is the predictability. After entire season only 13 drivers scored poinst and almost every time it was the same 10 drivers with similar positions except the ones that DNF and made points possible for drivers outside top10. Bottom is always the same fight, on the top the same and even fight in the middle. Even if you qualify outside top10 or even top15 you still finish at your expected position other drivers cant hold you back for to long.
Очень приятная игра с ламповой графикой. Позволяет погрузиться в атмосферу Формулы - 1 70-х годов
Very engaging! Controls on Steam Deck weren't enjoyable, I'd recommend using a mouse.
Just the right game. Enjoyed thoroughly. Nice 2D graphics and fun to play. No technicalities and complicated settings. Simple adjustments and you are ready to qualify and race. Will recommend other to try and play this game. It's fun, simple and direct!!!
It is a cute game, and apparently it runs well, but I see big flaws in it: the soft tires seem to run almost the same as the hard ones, and the continuity between seasons, makes no sense to me.
