About
Broken and betrayed by the very gods that you worship. You set out on a journey to punch god in the face. With the help of a mysterious benefactor you punch your way through the hordes of god's loyal servants in this slot building first person brawler roguelike.
Godfist combines slot/deck building with a unique twist. You start with three different abilities each will randomize every time you press one of the ability buttons. The ability that the slot lands on will be your next attack.
Godfist gameplay is inspired by the Super Smash Bros series in the sense that you don't lose health, but instead you gain pain. Every time you get hit, you become a little more unstable. Your objective is to climb the tower without falling off the edge and every hit will bring you closer to the edge. The same goes for your enemies, they cannot be killed by conventional means and must be thrown off the edge! So it's simple the more damage you do, the further the enemies will fly. Once they are knocked out of the stage they are gone.
Stage hazards
The world of Godfist is filled environmental hazards. Falling barrels and exploding lanterns can do massive damage if timed right.
Slot building
Godfist is all about building your own slot. Your character starts with three different abilities and three ability slots. Each time you activate an ability you'll also start the slot roll. The ability the slot stops in will be your next attack. During the course of the game you will find new abilities to build up your own custom slot machine. But be careful, each roll will cost you a few gold pieces.
Unlockable classes
You start as the Hoplite, which is a well rounded class that combines both balanced speed and attack power. As you progress you will be able to unlock new characters with different starting abilities and stats.
Leveling and upgrades
During battle enemies will drop both gold and experience, pick these up to buy upgrades and level up your character.
Hectic first person combat
Slot building mechanics, build your own arsenal.
4 different characters with different stats and starting abilities.
Procedural generated tower, every playthrough will be different.
Leveling system that gives you different perks and will improve your survival rate.
Challenging enemies, each with their own different quirk
No health, only pain! Damage will send you flying and the only way you lose is if you fall down.

Reviews
For the price it's asking for, it's not a bad game if what you're looking for is a quick fun game. This game is hard, and the roguelike element definitely makes this game not easy to beat unless you have a few hours sunk in. I've gotten as far as the second boss from my playtime, and I don't know how far I am to beating the final boss. There are a few quirks in this game that I've noticed, mainly the overall balancing of abilities. Some abilities send your enemies around in random directions, which is not what you want as the only way to kill your enemies is to push them off the tower. If an enemy is knocked over, the only way to push them off further is to use the kick ability, but the kick ability is so situational as the ability itself does no damage, and is hella useless on bosses. Regardless, this game is very cheap, so there's nothing stopping you from at least trying it.
Personally I like this games high quality yet minimalistic design, reminding me of my favourite game; ULTRAKILL, and just like ULTRAKILL, it is fast paced like hell, including its fun and unique combat system that challenges you despite being simple at first. To sum it all up: This game is amazing. Fast paced, nice graphics, a great challenge, interesting concept and more

Okay I have to say the developer is a complete chad for giving me a key for this game unexpectedly, however I did fail their test and I hope nothing bad happens to me because of it. anyway here is my review: The premise of this game is simple: punch your way up a tower and punch god himself. Throughout the game you will go through levels in a gauntlet-esque kind of combat, gain skills in rouge-lite fashion to gear yourself to be stronger and will attempt to get to the very top (if possible, I haven't even completed the game yet). This is a nice game to play casually and has a funny and good premise of a game. Simple but not too simple. Make sure to read the controls though as it will help with your game experience (don't be me and not claim your level ups for the first 30 minutes of gameplay because you didn't read instructions)
Great game. Challenging but fair. Finally punching people in the face with no consequences. All praise the fist!
Got this in a bundle since it looked interesting. Unfortunately it's fairly dull and everything feels very janky. The "music" is just one track on a loop, and half the time you don't even know if your hits will connect or not since the hitboxes don't seem to align with the models.
Great game with ultra buttery smooth gameplay! Super challenging beat em up...buy on sale HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! More people should know about indie modern releases that are very high quality like this!
Spartan Survivors
its good and pretty cheap and you get to punch people,a lot.
Using to many meteors crashes the game...but it looked awesome at least
Very fun little game, relatively difficult but you can get the hang of it. Interesting moves and relatively repetitive but also enjoyable gameplay. Good game and cheap too, worth the price!
