About
From Santa Monica Studio and brought to PC in partnership with Jetpack Interactive comes God of War Ragnarök, an epic and heartfelt journey that follows Kratos and Atreus as they struggle with holding on and letting go.
The sequel to the critically acclaimed God of War (2018), God of War Ragnarök picks up with Fimbulwinter well underway. Kratos and Atreus must journey to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers as Odin’s forces in Asgard prepare for a prophesied battle that will end the world.
Along the way, they will explore stunning, mythical landscapes, and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters. As the threat of Ragnarök grows ever closer, Kratos and Atreus must choose between the safety of their family and the safety of the realms.
Atreus seeks knowledge to help him understand the prophecy of “Loki” and establish his role in Ragnarök. Kratos must decide whether he will be chained by the fear of repeating his mistakes or break free of his past to be the father Atreus needs.
The Leviathan Axe, Blades of Chaos, and Guardian Shield return alongside a host of new abilities for both Kratos and Atreus. Kratos’ deadly Spartan skills will be tested like never before as he battles gods and monsters across Nine Realms to protect his family.
Journey through dangerous and stunning landscapes as Kratos and Atreus search for answers.

Gameplay & Combat Ragnarök takes the near-perfect combat of 2018 and refines it to absolute perfection. The combat is faster, more vertical, and highly aggressive. The addition of Freya as a companion brings fantastic variety to combat and exploration, offering a completely fresh gameplay dynamic compared to Atreus. My Rating: 10/10 Visuals & Art Direction Visually breathtaking. The art direction expands tremendously, allowing you to visit all Nine Realms, each with its own distinct biome, flora, and architectural style. The attention to detail, especially on high-end hardware, is unparalleled. Story Writing & Cutscenes The story beautifully continues and concludes the Norse saga. It is an epic, multi-layered narrative featuring incredible character arcs—most notably the complex, tragic, and deeply human portrayal of Thor and the manipulative brilliance of Odin. The emotional payoff at the end, culminating in Kratos and Atreus's inevitable but heartbreaking parting, is beautifully written. Audio & Soundtracks An absolute triumph. The soundtrack is a 10/10 masterpiece that successfully captures both the world-ending stakes of the apocalypse and the quiet, heartbreaking moments of the characters. The voice acting across the entire cast is legendary. My Rating: 10/10 Technical Performance An incredibly polished launch with stellar performance. It runs with great stability, locked framerates, and beautiful optimization across platforms. Innovation Ragnarök innovates by expanding its playable roster and greatly improving enemy variety. It also masterfully blends epic cinematic set-pieces with intimate character-driven moments, setting a new benchmark for cinematic action-adventure games. Level Design Massive, sprawling, and far more diverse than its predecessor. The puzzles are more engaging, navigation feels smoother, and the combat arenas are designed to encourage verticality and creative use of Kratos’s weapons. Themes The narrative heavily tackles themes of destiny vs. free will, forgiveness, the heavy toll of war, and learning to let go. Sense of Progression Incredibly satisfying. The gear system is much deeper, allowing for specialized builds (like focusing on parrying or runic cooldowns). Unlocking skills and watching both Kratos and Atreus grow into their full potential feels earned. Value An massive package filled with high-quality content. Between the grand main campaign, the exceptionally high-quality side quests (Favors), and the brilliant post-game content, the game offers top-tier value. ⚠️ The Pacing Flaw: The Ironwood Slog Despite being an almost perfect game, Ragnarök has one glaring flaw that significantly hurts its pacing: The Ironwood section. The chapter where Atreus visits Ironwood and meets the giantess Angrboda (the last Giant) is incredibly slow, tedious, and drags on for far too long. Riding yaks, picking fruit, and the slow-paced conversations feel like a massive roadblock that kills the game’s otherwise intense momentum. 🏆 Overall Score for God of War Ragnarök: 9.5 / 10
Bariz şekilde oyunu bitirmenin eşiğindeyim. Tam Sindri'nin evine gireceğim vakit sincap çıkıp, 'Şu çanı çal artık kodumun oğlu!' diyince işi gücü bırakıp çana tıklattım + 2 saat daha yazdı lavuk.
