About
From Santa Monica Studio and brought to PC in partnership with Jetpack Interactive comes God of War Ragnarök, an epic and heartfelt journey that follows Kratos and Atreus as they struggle with holding on and letting go.
The sequel to the critically acclaimed God of War (2018), God of War Ragnarök picks up with Fimbulwinter well underway. Kratos and Atreus must journey to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers as Odin’s forces in Asgard prepare for a prophesied battle that will end the world.
Along the way, they will explore stunning, mythical landscapes, and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters. As the threat of Ragnarök grows ever closer, Kratos and Atreus must choose between the safety of their family and the safety of the realms.
Atreus seeks knowledge to help him understand the prophecy of “Loki” and establish his role in Ragnarök. Kratos must decide whether he will be chained by the fear of repeating his mistakes or break free of his past to be the father Atreus needs.
The Leviathan Axe, Blades of Chaos, and Guardian Shield return alongside a host of new abilities for both Kratos and Atreus. Kratos’ deadly Spartan skills will be tested like never before as he battles gods and monsters across Nine Realms to protect his family.
Journey through dangerous and stunning landscapes as Kratos and Atreus search for answers.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 1: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

TLDR: Great game, "Give me God of War" is stupid After playing GOW: Ragnarök for 30 hours at time of review, i think i can conclude, that this game truly is a masterpiece. The story, atmosphere, music and characters are all basically perfect. There is just one minor thing i want to complain about: Late stage difficulty. I like difficulty in games, i like it when a game offers a challenge, i like overcoming said challenges, so i chose "Give me God of War" as my difficulty for my first playthrough of this game. I have finished GOW 2018 on the difficulty just below "Give me God of War", and thought "Hey, for this one, lets see how bad this can get". Needless to say, this difficulty increase is completely unreasonable, bordering just plain stupid. Almost every enemy becomes a bullet sponge, capable of withstanding immense ammounts of hits before defeated, our "God of War" Kratos becomes a fragile mess, almost always being just two to three hits away from death. When designing a difficulty made for those who want a difficult experience, i highly doubt that anyone wanted this to feel unfair, but in the end, this is exactly how combat has felt up to this point. Extremely punishing, unfair, and borderline stupid. Obligatory "No one likes Ironwood", this game is still a solid 9/10 for me.
I just finished the game in the highest difficulties. The game needs good reflexes. The story was really good, but the game itself felt kinda rushed and has minor bugs. But the game is really fun to play and I do not think the bugs will ruin the experience. Have fun and conquer the journey and yourself in Valhalla DLC.
