Gloomy Tales: Horrific Show Collector's Edition

Devs, PLEASE fix your game before releasing and offering it for a higher price than on Big Fish Games!! This game is virtually unplayable because the beginning cutscene starts and ends on a dark screen. Clicking around does nothing and no matter how much I change the settings/resolution, the environment just will not load. Other reviewers say more bugs and glitches exist in the game - please fix all of these, otherwise I can't say it's justified even buying this game, even on sale for 5 bucks.

Nice game until it crashed at the point I was in the cabin ready for the rescue! Focused in on the smoke filled area and then.... nothing! The screen freezes and no actions available, couldn't even exit the game properly!

This would be a good game if they would fix a few things, but as it is now, I can't recommend it. The good: It's one of the longest HO/adventure games I've played. No replaying the same HO scenes over and over. It has some different HO scenes and mini games, and not just the same old stuff. There are multiple types of collectibles, not just one. There were also some interesting uses for inventory items. Definitely needed to think outside the box a bit. The bad: I finished the main game, but there were some things to do that I never got back to and some objects in my inventory that I never used. In the bonus game, I'm just stuck. I didn't receive a needed object, but I can't go back and get because the area of interest is no longer available. It's like the game thinks I got the object, but I didn't. Overall, I enjoyed playing, but it's frustrating that I can't complete the game.

Update: Game works and was able to beat it, some of the puzzles aren't that good though and in the bonus chapter its impossible to finish I think because the game is bugged and one of the rooms near the end doesn't exist so you can't get the item you need to finish it, very unfortunate. Original review: Doesn't work. Just shows a black screen. Do not buy.

i loved the atomosphere and the graphics on the game, the characters and story behind it was also very good

A Hidden Object Adventure Puzzle Game. It is jam-packed with activities and makes you think. The game is played in chapters, and once you pass each chapter, you can't go back. This cuts down on walking back and forth as much as other games. I have a Windows 10 pc and experience lagging with the mouse. I fixed it by turning off the special effects and rebooting. .collectibles: Halloween Stuff, Circus coupons, awards .walkthrough .map: fast travel & available action .hint & skip .mini-games & puzzles, HOPs .HOPs are interactive and varied .optional match-3 to replace other games .excellent artwork, HOPs are very clear EXTRAS: .Circus Tent: you furnish using the coupons you found .Bonus Chapter .wallpapers .HOPS .DL music .Halloween Stuff .Achievements .videos .

Worked once now it just opens to a black screen good job Do Games.

So, it's Halloween and we all know that means Trick or Treat? Well, I purchased this before reading comments (err) because apparently it's more of a Trick than a Treat? After the prologue it's only a BLACK SCREEN. Come onnnn Domini?

Took a while to fix black screen issue. I don't even know what I did. There are places where there seem to be unfinished puzzles you don't even do. And I can't even finish the Bonus chapter. It's literally unbeatable right now.

Nice for inbetween, I also very much like the halloween topic, BUT: Sadly, I couldn´t play the bonus game ´til the end...needed a ticket, which was nowhere to be found (maybe lost in a glitch, who knows) and only had a pan with water left in my inventory, not needed at this point in the gameplay. Conclusion: I would recommend buying it when on sale, otherwise it would have been much more unsatisfying, not to finish it completely with the bonus content.
