На этот раз игра представляет собой легкое туристическое знакомство с Шотландией. Игровой процесс очень лёгкий. Поиск предметов временами чередуется головоломками. А при первом посещении уровней, игра даёт небольшой, в пару предложений, экскурс в историю места. Игра на поиск предметов нескольких видов: поиск по названию, поиск «идентичных» парных предметов, поиск по контуру, поиск по части предмета. Видимо, из-за одной особенности игры, очень часто мы будем искать один и те же вещи, что и на предыдущих локациях. Большого разнообразия не наблюдается. Головоломки типичные для игр этой студии. Типичные они в том, что гуляют из игры в игру, слегка меняя внешний вид. Это не было проблемой, если ли б они не повторялись по два-три раза за игру. Ну а теперь перейду к моей главной претензии к этой игре и другим, напрямую связанным с ней проблемам. Повсеместное использовании ИИ. Все ролики сгенерированы. Фоны и предметы для поиска тоже подверглись обработки ИИ-инструментов. Да, это, конечно, придаёт лоска, но напрочь лишает даже вида творческого созидания. Поиск предметов по части из-за обработки страдает больше всего – постоянно не совпадают цвета таких предметов. Из-за обработки ИИ страдает и работа игры – частные короткие подвисания при загрузке новых уровней, статтеры при взаимодействии с найденными предметами. Перевод на русский язык вновь выполнен без должной редактуры и нередко предметы для поиска переведены неправильно. Музыка для этих игр всегда была довольно простой и тоже навевала мысли об ИИ-обработке, но в этот раз она сделана просто безобразно – дорожка с музыкальными треками на автомате закинута на фон и при переходе на новые уровни они просто продолжается, будто не было никакой паузы. In the Hidden Object Scenes you have just to find a Number of Objects in two Waves. No extra Objects, so you can enjoy the nice done Scenes and find the Objects without any Pressure. There is one exception. From Time to Time there is a special Souvenir to find for a special Collection Room. The search itself is designed differently. Sometimes objects to find are fully shown, sometimes you have them as a Text or a Part in a Circle. This keeps everything very varied. The Brook family invites us to share their holidays in Scotland: a magical land rich in history, traditions, colors, castles, museums, cathedrals, and the beautiful Edinburgh Festival. A well-crafted hidden object game, each photograph is accompanied by an explanation. The mini-games are easy. Be careful, because in some locations, collectible objects will appear. There's a magnifying glass, a "Help" button, and a strategy guide that shows you how to complete the minigames and where to find the collectibles. All locations are repeatable if you realize you've forgotten something. At the end, you can play 10 extra levels if you want to collect all the items in the collection. I really want to enjoy these, but it just feels thematically stale and way over-rushed for the price. It is mostly all AI content, which is a shame, because a lot of their games have premise to be charming. Although I was given a free copy of this game, it was disappointing to be immediately greeted by an AI cutscene, and hear corporate business style music throughout the first part of the game. There's something odd about people staring at you in each setting also. All of these minor annoyances added up to me not feeling enthused to continue. Not all of their games are a miss, however. I think so far, I've enjoyed Enchanted Stories : PAWSioned Kingdom above all. Be warned, either way, these games are laced with AI content, which detracts from an otherwise enjoyable experience. This one however, misses the mark with its lack of voice acting and direction.
