Glitchball is a 2D Vaporwave party-game that's like soccer.... but the ball kills you. Use your jetpack and shield to deflect the incoming glitchball to score goals, kill players, and compete for dominance in a chilled out dead mall.Key Features

Game is trying too hard to be minimalistic vaporwave. Where are the expanded volume options, for example? I can reduce the volume of the music, but the sound effects are loud as ♥♥♥♥ still. There doesnt seem to be online co-op either. Game expects you to play with a controller, makes no sense to not have some keyboard binds explained instead of controller during load screen.
Glitchball, aka vaporwave pong.
Online co-op doesn't seem to work, absolutely loud as hell, keyboard binds would still be usefull despite the dev's distatse for them. The game looks really fun and has quite a bit of potential. I'd love to play it once it actually meets expectations but as of right now in it's current state, I can't reccomend it.

me gustó este juego porque es una pija.
Its nice, but it needs to have simultaneous controller/keyboard support (it can't use both at the same time because a controller will be assigned to the same player as the keyboard) and a map editor would work well with a game that has a simple style like this.
Glitchball is a local PvP Unity Based 2D retro pixel arena brawler/pinball hybrid. You bounce a giant pinball around a pastel arena (ignoring the fact that Vaporwave was more about neon than pastels) while annoying music blips at you. There's no online gameplay. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. The default keybinds, which can't be bad, are atrociously unintuitive... it appears the developers never saw a PC before, or played video games before. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The game is completely free. This is noble a gesture that shows dedication to both gamers, and the gaming industry. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. The quality here is simply too low for me to recommend, even for free.
