Glass Masquerade 4: Constellations

Радует возвращение эффекта стекла в пазлах, однако сами изображения и общее художественное исполнение по-прежнему оставляют желать лучшего. Визуальная составляющая напоминает работы AI, хотя никакой информации об этом в "Steam" нет. Более того, тематика мистики и антропоцентризма вызывает сильное отторжение. Все остальные аспекты остались на уровне третьей части: настраиваемые игровые режимы и вариативность форм пазлов, которые, к сожалению, не приносят удовольствия и лишь раздражают, а два уровня сложности кажутся избыточными, так как пазлы собираются легко и быстро, даже если конечное изображение до конца остаётся загадкой.

Bisher jeden Teil von Glass Masquerade gespielt und immer auf 100% gebracht, da ich unteranderem eine Achievement Hunterin bin. Aber allgemein auch macht es mir immer wieder Freude mit Buntglas zu "puzzlen" und es erlaubt mir aus dem Alltag zu entfliehen. Danke für dieses Game und auf viele weiteren Teile die rauskommen werden!

A good return to form for the series even though the art still seems lacking, but at least not as bad as GM3. Puzzle mode variety is still fun and keeps it interesting for all the different constellations. Constellations was a good avenue for this one to take, better than GM1 clocks and GM2 monsters. GM3 was forgettable and only innovated in gameplay. Still recommend this if you enjoyed 1 and 2, as it is a combination of its predecessors now with better gameplay and ok art.

Same as part 3. Not much changed so far as I can tell, except for the pictures of course. so I'll just copy-paste most of the review from the previous game. Relaxing puzzles just like the first three installments. There are several type of cut-outs you can select from. The original 'stained glass' figures being one of them. A mode setting determines if you get all pieces at once or in batch according to some pattern. You can play the way you want or go for the special achievements. All of them are easily attainable.

I love this game. It is relaxing. The music is great too.

Glass Masquerade 4 felt like the series took everything it learned from the previous games and polished it into a smoother overall experience. The UI is clean, simple, and easy to navigate. The main menu gives you a nice overview before leading you into the puzzle selection, which is organized into different themes such as mythical creatures and zodiac-inspired collections. I also appreciated that each section contained a reasonable number of puzzles, so it never felt overwhelming. The puzzle settings, cuts, and difficulty options also felt a little more refined, even if they weren't drastically different from the previous game. Everything was straightforward and easy to figure out. I also enjoyed the Celestial DLC. One of my favorite changes was the achievement design. Compared to the earlier games, the achievements felt much more realistic and progression-based. Instead of requiring near-perfect accuracy or completing every puzzle on the hardest difficulty, this time you only needed to try different puzzle cuts, difficulties, and complete the puzzles naturally. It made going for 100% much more enjoyable instead of feeling like a chore. My only real criticism is that, while the artwork was still beautiful and stayed true to the series, something about the overall execution didn't resonate with me in quite the same way as the previous entries. It wasn't the themes, subject matter, or art style itself—I actually enjoyed those. I just felt the artwork didn't come together with the same emotional impact the earlier games had. It certainly wasn't bad, and I still enjoyed it, but it didn't leave quite the same lasting impression on me. Overall, I still had a great time with Glass Masquerade 4. If you enjoyed the previous games in the series or simply enjoy relaxing puzzle games with beautiful stained-glass-inspired artwork, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.

Bardzo fajne puzzle - sporo opcji (polecam głównie ten tryb z kawałkami wyglądającymi jak rozbite szkło, ale można grać jak się chce) i chyba najładniejsze witraże od czasów jedynki. Można się na parę godzin odprężyć przy minimalistycznej muzyce i bawić na swoich zasadach. Nawet pod kątem osiągnięć wystarczy wypróbować różne style i poziomy trudności tylko raz, a potem do końca grać tylko na tych, które przypadły do gustu. Cena też adekwatna do zawartości - nawet chętnie dorzucę więcej przy okazji kolejnych DLC.
